“We were in town for one night and wanted to have Mexican food. There are several options in town but this one stood out for its drinks and atmosphere. We were very pleased with our service from the minute we walked through the door. We were seated by the Manager Valerie who was so helpful with the menu and recommended a few items to try. The chips and salsa were perfect with two different salsas. My wife loved the Emma Margarita which came with extra shots of tequila!! My daughter loved her strawberry limeade. We ordered the flameado enchiladas, bistek tacos, and the kids fajita taco plate. The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. Service was great throughout our meal. We are from San Antonio and are definitely spoiled when it comes to good food. This place would definitely be a favorite and on our regular list. “Smells horrid, like a public bathroom throughout the whole place.The salsa taste great, you can tell it is made in house. The salmon fajita, came out on a sizzling plate and was piping hot. The salmon had an OK taste to it. The shrimp was blane. My husband ordered the mixed chicken and beef, the beef was well seasoned. You do get a lot of food for the price, we didn't get to half of the plates because we were full before half eaten.Blas was our server, the food came out quick and he also checked on us several times. “Took my guy for his first Birria experience! The menu is impressive!! We tried the horchata and the lemon cucumber agua frescas, both were incredibly delicious! I got the Birria-dilla, essentially 4 Birria tacos with the broth (my favorite part), they were incredible! Not too much cheese, great beef, and the broth was like a sip of heaven! My guy got the Birria plate, meat with rice and beans, and you build your own taco which was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!!“

“Service is absolutely amazing! Located in a small strip mall off of Beltway 8 and Sam Houston, this restaurant serves up pretty authentic Mexican food. I love the gigantic drink cups and we tried the horchata and cantaloupe drinks. Both were really really good. The food portions were good and prepped very well. However, everything was a bit bland for my taste. There were no extra hot sauces or condiments to really help. The restaurant also faces the sun and we went at 4pm and the heat was just a bit much. Some UV blocking tints or curtains would help. Overall we were happy but little things could be improved“

“I saw this place a few times while working in this area it’s a small trailer with some pretty darn good tacos for very fair prices they are not greedy with the meat at all and the tacos are much bigger than I thought. The Sala was okay the green is spicier than the red with okay flavor they also put some onions which I really like with the food. They get a plus because you can order fries here also. The quesadilla is not to large but has very good flavor not bad at all so far the best since I moved here from Cali where it’s hard to find a decent taco.“

“I stopped here on a rainy day, in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Tacos Anita La Veracruzana did not disappoint.This is a food truck on FM 521 in the Arcola/Fresno area. It shares the parking area with another business, so parking space is limited. I parked and walked up to the window. The menu is a little confusing but it's basically the photos posted on the outside of the food truck.I decided to order a torta and a gordita, both with fajita meat. I also ordered an horchata to wash it down with. The torta and gordita were both delicious. The meat was tender and flavorfull and blended well with the lettuce and tomato inside of it. The sauce gave it a creamy, savory, comforting taste to add depth to the bun on the torta and the corn shell of the gordita. The cheese was just the right amount, complimenting the meat but not overwhelming it. The lettuce and tomato kept everything tasting fresh. Last but not least, what is Mexican food without salsa. The red and green were both on point! While I'm not a big sweet drink person, the horchata was very good.This was a solid meal from a local food truck and did not disappoint. The parking is very limited but you can call ahead and order. It's located off of a busy road and traffic is a bit annoying around there but other than that, the service is excellent. The food truck operator is very nice and the food was worth the rain I stood in to order the food. There's not much to say about the ambiance, since it's a food truck in a very small lot on a loud road.I'll return to order the pambazos and sopes next. I'll also try the mango or piña agua fresca next time.If you are in the area, stop by and try this authentic Veracruz, Mexican cuisine!“

The food was incredibly delicious and not at all greasy like other places that taste good, but leave you feeling yucky. During lunch time they do get quite busy, but they seem to have it together with their pagers to let you know when your order is ready. I tried their huaraches, tacos and gorditas so far, and their generous portions of toppings on food (queso fresco and crema).
