IHOP in Irving

The general manager for this location contacted me and apologized for the issues during my visit and offered me to come in during the day for meal on them to make up for the last one I had . He was very kind and so was my waiter and the food was much better and I appreciate all the effort he went through to make me feel seen, heard, and appreciated as a customer. My rate was a 1 overall. But on this customer service and a better visit in the day at this location I am raising it. Thank you Ceasar!

So I really used to love IHOP back in the day but over the years, it has went downhill! At this location on 6/5/25 around 10pm to 11pm or so, the waiter/server was great but the food was not done and the cook had a horrible atttitude towards the waiter and the cook didnt seem to want to be there. I had to ask the waiter to microwave my food to cook it done, after allowing the server to take back my hashbrowns to ask the cook to cook them the way I ordered them. I didn't finish my food, I had to get out of there.
Denny's will definitely be my #1 spot from now on. IHOP, you must do better.“

“I have been going to IHOP since moving to the USA in 2014, my recent visit with my sister and niece continued to uphold its reputation as a reliable safe option for a satisfying meal. Over the years, I've enjoyed their diverse menu, from fluffy omelets to crispy chicken sandwiches, and their signature pancakes and waffles. From 2016 to 19, IHOP was our go to for comfort food. Especially the location in farmers branch next to 635.
This time, our order included the flavorful chicken fajita omelet with a side of pancakes, a classic chicken sandwich with fries, and the comforting chicken & waffles. To drink, we had a refreshing strawberry lemonade and two Pepsis. Our hostess, Aaliyah, was a delight – she greeted us warmly and provided friendly, attentive service throughout our meal. Restaurant was also clean & service was also relatively fast. It was surprising to see the restaurant so empty initially, especially its history as a busy spot. However, a few more customers did start to show up as we were leaving. Despite the quiet start, the quality of the food and service remained consistent with many of my personal experiences over the past decade. All the emerging trendy brunch spots with elaborate decor, often feel like their omelet menus are directly inspired by IHOP's offerings. I highly recommend IHOP for a safe and comforting meal experience.“
