When I am in Irving early I tend to visit shortys. They open early and the food is fresh. Honestly the food can be hit or miss. Last time I went the chicken fried steak was over cooked and the biscuits were not fresh. My daughter loves their biscuits and gravy.
The cinnamon pecan pancakes are quality. So many pecan halves. The French toast didn't disappoint. The biscuit and gravy hit the spot. Looking forward to coming back for lunch. All quality ingredients used.
