“As a truck driver, I eat in a lot of restaurants, and I have never really been a big fan of Hardee’s or Carl’s Jr. But yesterday I stopped at the Carl’s Jr. in Italy, Texas at the loves truckstop, and I was absolutely amazed. The service and everything was great but the jalapeño double burger that I got was the absolute best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the lettuce, the tomatoes. None of it could’ve been any better if I would’ve made it myself. They put a decent amount of sauce on there which unlike McDonald’s who likes to give you a quarter size squirt of Mac sauce on their big Mac, and then charge you a dollar to have a decent amount put on, this was a welcomed change. Their burger was as good as any In-N-Out Burger that I’ve ever had and I absolutely love those. I definitely will be eating their burgers when I come through there. Kudos for these folks who made a sandwich that people would actually like to eat.“
“The mgr waited on my family and I! She was great. She had really impeccable customer service and she was very kid friendly. My children just adored her! “The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Our food was fresh but I like my cheese melted on my burger. It was put on my sandwich right before it was given to me. Upon departing the restaurant, there was a slight sewage odor near the restrooms. I could not smell it anywhere else though. Short walk from the truck stop across the street.“
“This place is a Maypearl gem. I almost don't want to post a review so that it can remain a secret for a little while longer. We go for breakfast at least twice a week and we miss it when we're out of town. So delicious and classic small town Texas.“
“Y'all, let me tell ya 'bout the Busy Bee Café in Maypearl! I reckon it's the real deal when it comes to Tex-Mex grub. I recently dug into their lip-smackin' chicken fajitas, served up with a side of queso, salsa, and chips. Quick as a whip, the food hit the table, and every bite was pure Texas bliss. Now, I ain't gonna lie, them gnats buzzin' 'round were a mite pesky, but that didn't dampen my appetite none. I'd surely saddle up and head back to Busy Bee Café for another round. If you're fixin' for some finger-lickin' Texan eats in Maypearl, this here spot's a surefire winner.“
