“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

we were very happy with the selection they had for dinner. The healthy options were great alternative to the usual pizza, burger, and fries although that goat cheese, sweet potato, french fries with honey was truly decadent. Great meal.“

“A hidden secret-what some may call a “hole in the wall” cafe, with surroundings that are raw, but be certain you will be safe! Being a native Houstonian by 4 gen, I had never known of this cafe. Several yrs ago my SNL introduced it to me & I’ve loved it. Plus yesterday, brother and i had breakfast but i was insanely surprised by the dessert items that hit the sweet spot of its “almond” pastries. “I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“

“Franks Grill on Telephone Road opened in 1963 by my neighbors Frank and Bertha Mae Jones of Glenbrook Valley, Houston. I washed dishes on opening day and my mother "Pipsy" was the cashier. Frank greeted every customer personally with a smile. Bertha Mae baked the best homemade pies in the world, all from scratch. For breakfast you got a half a plate of hashbrowns with 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs. Add coffee all for under $3 Dollars. I ate there most of my life and is still good today.“

“The food was amazing! We got the Truck Stopper and the Blue Moon burgers and shared an order of onion rings. The onion rings were light and crispy, just perfect. Now the burgers! Oh the burgers were awesome: the Blue Moon, just the right amount of blue cheese not to overwhelm the burger, and the Truck Stopper had the right amount of toppings. They literally make everything fresh with that being said consider you may have to wait a little bit, but I think it’s worth it for good Quality food.
