“we heard a lot of good things and saw all the posts on social media so we had to come try the food while we were in New Orleans. we pulled up today right at closing time and even though they were already shutting down, they took our order anyway. their customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + the drinks are SOOO good. the food? BETTER than we expected and we KNEW it’d be good. everything is seasoned just right and has a ton of flavor. i’d come to new orleans JUST to eat here.“

“When we pulled up all I heard was HEYYYY with a wave and a big ass smile! I was surprised to see them on 1960. Yay for me because it’s hittin and close to home!! Today we got the Catfish Fluffy. It has cajun rice, a HUGE piece of fried catfish, topped with crawfish and sausage, and broccoli on the side.
Everything tastes good af! Fish fried hard just like I like it! Next time we will try that oatmeal pie funnel cake🤤.
I see people in the reviews talking about the price. What do you expect when you are getting crawfish AND a piece of fish that covers the plate corner to corner? It’s well worth the money!

“Went for the first time last night and had a hamburger and fries for $12. Lots of food and delicious. Easy to access location at Gessner and Neuens. Chef Jody has me intrigued with the pizza puffs. I might give those a try next time“

“The food is delicious and service is excellent! I love the fried fish, French fries and hush-puppies. I've eaten here several times and recommended Krab Kingz to some friends. So now, they also enjoy eating here and have had pretty much everything offered on the menu. We all agree that the food is consistently delicious, well-seasoned, and good portion sizes for the price! The staff is always courteous and offers service with a smile, which makes every visit a great experience for us. Great job Krab Kingz!“

“Stopped by to try the corn street tacos. Got a beef, chicken, and a barbacoa ?. I really enjoyed them! While I waited for my order, there were ppl constantly coming up to order. Getting in and out is a bit hard off the main 1960, due to speeding cars, bit definitely be back to try thr other offers.

“Food is good but you’re going to pay a premium. $12 for 5 small tacos is not your usual food truck prices. However they’re really good.
It’s close to home so when I’m lazy and want some good food I come here.
I’ve tried pretty much all of their menu and you can’t really go wrong with anything.
My favorite item is the Gordita. They let the cheese melt inside with the meat and not everyone does that. It makes it a 10/10.
They do sell out of some items so you might not find what you’re looking for at certain times.
The salsas are delicious and I always ask for extra because I put about one whole container per taco.“
“We just had a few days before a Hurricane rip thru our city and food outside of home was scare this food truck was open and was amazing. Had Chicken Quesadillas and it was better than I was anticipating. Sheer awesomeness! Thank you and keep it up we have been back since and will return again.“
