“I came to eat at another food truck in the park, and noticed this one was Black owned. I asked the cook (who was absolutely fine as can be) what her favorite dish was and she said the fluffy fish plate (catfish). To my genuine surprise, my food was absolutely fried and seasoned to perfection. Since I moved to Houston, people raved about Creole/Cajun restaurants to try, but this is the first time I legit felt the money was worth it. The Island Breeze lemonade I got was absolutely delicious too. Both the cook and the cashier were very friendly, and I'd highly recommend to anyone.“

“Went for the first time last night and had a hamburger and fries for $12. Lots of food and delicious. Easy to access location at Gessner and Neuens. Chef Jody has me intrigued with the pizza puffs. I might give those a try next time“

“This place is delicious. We ordered buffalo wings, waffle sandwich and a cookies n cream milkshake. We got the buffalo wings and fries, and they are not basic. The sauce was slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness. The fries were crispy and over all delicious. We also took this order to-go, and the waffle sandwich did not get soggy and was great. The cookies and cream milkshake was the star. I will drive back 20 minutes just for this milkshake. It was not too thick and not overly sweet. The service was great too! The gentleman greeted us and instructed us how we can submit an order. I highly recommend and I will be a returning customer.“

“I am a Puerto Rican who grew up in Miami so I did not have a ton of exposure to certain foods growing up, specifically pupusas. My husband bought us some pupusas revueltas with curtido and the red sauce and it was the best pupusa I have EVER had… The curtido was perfect, the salsa was perfect, the pupusa was just right and not greasy. I am still savoring it. Highly recommend!!“

“Stopped by to try the corn street tacos. Got a beef, chicken, and a barbacoa ?. I really enjoyed them! While I waited for my order, there were ppl constantly coming up to order. Getting in and out is a bit hard off the main 1960, due to speeding cars, bit definitely be back to try thr other offers.
