“Totally Awesome 👍😎 custom craft brewery, right in Jersey Village, conveniently located @ Beltway 8 & Hwy 290, just off the Senate Avenue exit from Hwy 290. I know the owner, who started with nothing but a fierce determination and die hard ambition to become one of the best Brewmiesters/Brewmasters in the world. Well, he has done it! Senate Avenue Brewery has some of the best craft blends and recipes I've ever tasted. They've won repetitive awards and medals, but the place is, simultaneously, the most family friendly brewery we've ever been to. The food, and weekly events like Wednesday trivia nigh, Chicken Fried Steak, double points, Mondays, Tuesday Run and biking club night, Thursday steak night, and Fish Fry Fridays, are simply stellar. We Love the Mayor's Burger, Fish Fry Fridays, Thursday Night Steak Night, cheese curds, with ranch and marinara, pizzas, churros, Addie's Sundae, and the other fine cuisine as well. Ample indoor, as well as outdoor, seating with area for kids to play. Wonderful big screen, indoor as well as outdoor, sports screens with: football 🏈; basketball 🏀; baseball ⚾; ice hockey 🏒 💪; soccer⚽; and many other sports shown as well. Andy, the owner and founder, Glenn, the manager, and all the hard working, amicable, staff are all super approachable, and will do whatever they can to make your dinning and craft beer experience as happy 😊 😁🎉 as possible. “I absolutely love Little Kitchen HTX. I’ve eaten here four times now, and every single dish has been a knockout. Yesterday I had the Morning Taco on a corn tortilla — egg, roasted cauliflower, cilantro, cotija, pickled red onion, and that dreamy charred scallion aioli... chef’s kiss. So flavorful, fresh, and totally unique — they put a creative spin on every classic, and it just works.

Also, let’s talk about Pizza Nights on Fridays and Saturdays — their pizza is to die for. Crust perfection. Toppings that actually taste like someone thought about them.

What really impressed me was their heart. Katz Coffee isn’t just about brewing the perfect roast—they’re brewing positive change in the community. I was thrilled to learn they actively support Veterans with PTSD and other incredible causes. Their commitment to giving back is just as strong as their coffee game. “This place is a hidden Gem. One of my favorite bars in Houston. The food is good, the beer on tap is always excellent, and a great atmosphere. Lots of seating and TVs everywhere, it’s perfect for a Friday night hangout or to watch a big game. Bartenders are very nice and are happy to change the TV for any game.“

“I've never had a bad experience at Connie's, but I have had a disappointment due to not asking enough questions. The custard is rich and creamy, and you can completely customize your order. Seating leaves something to be desired as it's uncovered, and there are no tables, so keep that in mind when going. If you have kids, bring wet wipes. I didn't see a place to wash your hands, and we definitely needed to clean up a bit afterwards. I highly recommend checking out happy hour for reduced prices.

Parking: There isn't much parking next to the building, but there's additional parking behind it in the larger lot for the strip mall.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the treats, but it's right off of a very busy road. If you have smaller children, keep a close eye on them.“

We shared an order of onion rings, which were the best I’ve had since moving to Cypress. Great tasting ranch to dip them in as well. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I was super impressed with the burger. The bun was awesome, the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Had that little bit of char that tasted so good! We will DEFINITELY be going back.
