“Stars are for the cashier who was so kind and patient....... But was disappointed in the food..... Got the bag .. Got in car and was on the road and started munching..... The filet o fish wasn't hot at all, like it had beef premade and sitting..... Only the top few French fries were crispy then all the rest beneath were soggy and squished..... Like they put the broken and bottom pieces of the fries in first then top them with a few fresh ones when serving.... Next time I'll definitely check before I start driving..... So disappointed I had been driving for 3.5 hours and was super hungry and looking forward to it...“
“Traveling on Thanksgiving is never easy. You never know what is going to be open for how long and what they’re going to be serving. But the PJ fresh market place at pilot travel center in Stockton Texas is a perfect stop. I wish the gentleman behind the buffet counter had a name tag so I could thank him personally. But all the workers there were exceedingly helpful and very kind, which can be kind of hard to do working on a holiday. God bless them all! Happy Thanksgiving.“
“I was hesitant to stop on our road trip and eat at this Subway after seeing their 3.5 star rating and reading some of the reviews, but it seems they have fixed their issues because we had a very good experience. The area was very clean. The staff was very helpful, and sandwiches were made just as we ordered and very good. I felt I had to write a review, so people will know that they may have had issues, but it was all good as of 2023. Some reviews spoke of what they were charged for certain add ons, etc. If it isn't stated on the menu, ask before you order what the charge will be for special order items and you can decide if you want it or not. I would go again without hesitation.“
“In the middle of nowhere lies the best gas station/ truck stop I have ever been to; As the pics speak for themselves. The manager is very friendly and prices are decent. If you're traveling through the area, I highly suggest you stop by. Even if it's just to use a nice restroom before continuing on your long stretch. BEST PART, IN MY OPINION, IS THE FOOT HANDLE FOR THE RESTROOM ENTRANCE! VERY THOUGHTFUL!“
“Okay for some reason this was the best burger we’ve ever had….. be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes… it’s not fast food but I’m telling you this Sonic is FRESH and delicious. The manager manages two restaurants in this truck stop and he also prepares the food so he’s a busy dude…“
“We stopped here cause we were thirsty and craving sonic drinks. The one at the travel center down the road was strange so we chose this one. We did everything via the app to save money on the drinks. The girl that brought our drinks out didn't seem to happy to be there but I wouldn't blame her shes working at a sonic in the middle of no where Texas. Stop here for your sonic needs. Easy on and off highway“
“Small and cozy diner here in Junction. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. They put the gravy under the Chicken Fried Steak, which I’ve never seen before but it was good. A bit greasy but I ate every bite. Would definitely recommend.“
