“Shorty’s is the kind of restaurant that makes you immediately abandon all plans of “just a quick bite.” I walked in thinking I’d behave myself… and walked out wondering how I managed to eat enough food for three people and still consider dessert.
The food comes out hot, fresh, and dangerously good—like it was personally designed to test your self-control. The portions are generous in a “we don’t believe in leaving hungry” kind of way, which I fully respect but also fear.
The atmosphere is laid-back, the staff is friendly, and the menu has that perfect balance of comfort food and “why am I ordering this much?” energy. At one point I caught myself staring at my plate like it had personally challenged me.
Shorty’s doesn’t just serve food—it sets you up for success, failure, and a food coma all in the same visit. 10/10 would unbutton my jeans there again without hesitation.“

“Working in the area this week. Got to missing my home town Jalisco. This one was across from my hotel. I called ahead and ordered. They have a drive thru!!!! Went to the window the lady was very nice and pretty. She smiled every time she opened the window! The order was 100% as I had ordered it and tasted SO GOOD! Hit the spot I was missing! 10/10 recommend this spot! Not sure about dining in…but I’m sure it’s great too!“
