“Thank you so much for lunch! Pizza was spot on and so full of toppings you had to watch out so they didn’t fall off. Mango habanero wings were excellent with the perfect blend of crunch, sweet and spicy. Chicken bacon ranch pizza was delicious too! We will definitely see you again soon!“

“We were there as a Jeep club for their annual watermelon festival and parade. Only about 12 of us were there for lunch, but they were able to accommodate us by pushing some tables together. The server quickly had chips and salsa on the table, took our drink order, turned it in, came right back for our food order, and got it turned in. Everyone was enjoying the conversation time, talking about trips we've taken, trips we're going to take, just enjoying our time together. Didn't seem like very long at all before we had our food sitting in front of us. And believe me, they were busy. With the crowd coming from the parade, it being Saturday lunchtime, they had it together. Very organized, the kitchen was putting out the plates, the service was getting the plates to the tables, and the food was excellent. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, good food, good company, what more could you ask for.“

“I got the migas plate and it wasn't bad but there was really nothing about it that stood out. I was driving through. The place was mostly empty on a Tuesday morning around 11am. The music was nice. Better than the places that have the TVs blaring. But the migas seemed more chip than egg. The onions were cut pretty large. The potatoes were not crispy and the beans were kind of bland. I would try one of the other places in town the next time I pass through before going back here. To top it off, I paid at the counter. My tab was $12. I paid by card and she asked if I wanted to tip. I said yes, put 20% on it. When I signed the receipt, I saw she'd tipped herself $5 (42%) on my $12 tab. No thanks.“

“This was our first time at Baldy’s La Vernia and we will be back. Sherry, our waitress, made it an excellent visit. She was kind, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent! I had the special, flat iron steak, salad, baked potato and chocolate cake, it was fantastic-a juicy, tender steak!“

“Every food I've tried has been yummy. They're a small family owned business. The dining area is a bit small, so if they're busy, they'll fill up fast. You're able to easily order to go. I wish they had handout menus, though. But you can see most of what they do on the posted pictures. They're very friendly and make delicious food.Parking: There is parking out in front of the restaurant. It's limited to about what they can fit inside.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to the front door. Inside the restaurant, it may be a little tight to maneuver. But all the tables are movable.“
