Always great food! Breakfast! Lunch or dinner!
Everything we visit Houston,or Katy we eat at Black Walnut. We love the food and atmosphere. Wish there was one in Virginia! We love it so much our daughter purchased a gift card for us to use when she know we are coming this way!

Black Walnut Kitchen & Bar - Cinco Ranch offers always good food and great service. It is high end breakfast with delicious food, including Benedicts, BWC trademark salad, and Chicken N Waffles. The food quality and quantity is good, with a large variety of brunch options. The ambiance is on point, with a good atmosphere for a relaxed time, though the patio could be improved with working heaters. Service is excellent and very quick to respond. Staff members like Veda are amazing, outstanding, and simply the best with a great attitude and spirit. Jasmine and Chuy are wonderful and very helpful. Shadi is good at his job, greeting guests heartily and making recommendations. The manager, Doug, is very kind. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Some service issues have occurred, with orders being wrong or incomplete, likely due to workload. Overall, the restaurant is a great all around experience and a recommended breakfast hangout.
