Making sure the everything was set up perfectly, from the table linens and place settings to where the carving station was and would make the most sense without disrupting the flow of the rest of the dinner and reception!
Highly recommend, and of course, all the food was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience…I knew I didn’t have to worry about them on our wedding day!“

“Chef Mo!!! Look y'all. I don't usually try new things but I've been eyeing this restaurant for months now and I finally gave it a try. THIS food is real deal Holyfield! My girl from Louisiana and she don't like restaurants claiming the boot cuisine and they not official. She took a bite of what I ordered (Down by the Bayou) and wouldn't give me my plate back!100% authentic! This is a must try! I will definitely be back very very soon!“

“We recently used Zach's Shack for a wedding shower serving about 50 people. Ronnie did a fabulous job. The meats were smoked to perfection and not dry as catered food can sometimes be. Aside from the excellent BBQ, and sides there was apple cobbler and ice cream. Ronnie is very service oriented. He was there early and \\\"draped\\\" the counters for easy cleanup. He cut the portions and served for several hours while people came back for more. This is definitely a great option for catering any event.“

Five stars for food and service. The atmosphere is clean, but this is not be the best place for a date as it has a fast-food vibe.“

“Fantastic food with an eclectic Louisiana atmosphere. Jay and the staff treat you like family. I got the beignets (best I've had since NO) my husband got the skillet, and my dad got the gumbo eggs. The gumbo eggs, while not pretty, were amazing. Next time we go out with the family I'll get those and share the beignets with the table.“

“This is a great little place that is situated in a gravel parking lot with two other permanent food stands. It's well lit at night and it's clean.

The beef street tacos were so well seasoned and delicious. The spicy Verde sauce was perfect. I will be back for more when I'm nearby. Great late night snack or night cap near hotels by Katy Mills.“

“Hands down some of the best bbq in the area. Bomb a** turkey legs too. My only two complaints would be ADD MORE CHEESE TO THE MAC! The noodles were SEASONED but very dry… The red beans and rice were so salty I felt my blood pressure go up! Baby my legs sure felt the sodium levels in my blood increase. I mixed a lil bit of the turkey meat to help. I will DEFINITELY be back but please, please get these minor issues fixed cuz without those issues this would easily be top 3 bbq spots. $48 for whats pictured.“
