“Memo is a really good guy. He treats you better than family. He establishes a relationship with his regular customers. Ephesus serves a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. I like the chicken with cream and the lunch specials.

“We happen to come across Abu Omar Halal today while in Baton Rouge, Louisiana & they definitely caught our eye…. We just had to stop and try it! 🥳 Let’s just say it was soooo worth it, They have the best version of chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. I ate every last bite before leaving the parking lot. ❤️ We got the Chicken Shawarma Arabi along with a side of spicy garlic sauce! The spicy garlic sauce is a MUST TRY!“

“Stopped by with my dad after a Dr appointment wanting to try something new and this small establishment caught my eye. You have to walk up and order your food like a Whataburger or Dairy Queen and then they bring it to your table. My dad loved his burger and my chicken plate was seasoned like I would have cooked it at home. As another review stated a more friendly staff that perhaps welcomed you when you arrived or smiled some to make you feel welcomed would be the only improvement they could make. They had multiple TVs in the small eating area but none of them were on. Also everything was clean when I went including the restroom so bonus points for that. I will definitely stop by next time I am passing through to try their chicken kebabs.“

“Called in two platters and although it was lunch time and they were swamped. The food came out fast. Plus everything tasted fresh and delicious. Sadly we're not from this side of town but would definitely recommend it if you're looking for some decent lamb.“
