A must try in Katy / Energy Corridor Korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, marinated galbi, grilled zucchini. And the very best is the chocolate concord cake!!!“

We found a shaded spot on the way home and enjoyed the TENDER, JUICY fingers, the plump, salted-just-right fries, and the unbelievable but well-executed thought of a piece of toast!! “A new Kabob spot popped up on my Instagram so I had to make my way over. I think I actually saw a video of their saffron wings first, that video hooked me. Solid flavor on the wings and the two sauces that came with compliments them pretty well. The chicken kabobs were probably the juiciest I've ever seen, marinade lightly but just enough for me to want to go back and get some more. The two owners were very nice and hospitable. They offered us complimentary hot tea after our meal and I love me some tea! Located in a food truck park right behind Fusion Grill on Mason. There was probably 10 other trucks there but only a few open on Monday. Go get you some!“

One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “What once was known as Proud Pie, this amazing woman, Nicole, came in and redesigned the place into a relaxing Boba and Japanese cuisine Café. I tried the Thai Milk tea with brown sugar boba and cream cheese foam topper. By far the best Thai Milk Tea I’ve ever had, not too bitter and the sweetness of the, made in house, Cream Cheese Foam was a perfect balancer. If I hadn’t ate before coming in, I would have tried the whole menu. Starting with the Takoyaki and Fries with Mayo and Teriyaki. Then a Katsu Bento Box and Dynamite Shell. Finishing off with a slice of Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, specially made by the owner herself.“
