We had a great meal at Shogun Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar. We tried a mix of sushi, grilled dishes, and appetizers, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. The sushi was nicely prepared, while the grilled dishes were hot and well seasoned. We also enjoyed the gyoza, which had a crispy exterior and savory filling. A great spot when you're craving Japanese food with plenty of variety.

However, the restaurant has some downsides. Seating arrangements lack privacy for couples, as they are seated with groups, reducing intimacy. The atmosphere can be affected by bad smells and grease, and the bathrooms are not consistently clean. Food quality issues are noted, especially with Tempura, Gyozas, and sushi, which are considered overpriced and not very fresh, often appearing frozen or pre-made. The sauces are described as generic.
