“We got "So Lucky" coming across "Rodeo Goat" heard the music outside we knew we were at the right place! the atmosphere is neatly rustic, the servers so attentive & fun & the food was excellent with such hefty portions that we required a to go box. food so scrumptious that later in our room made another great meal. all at a reasonable price. highly recommend“

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“1st time eating there. Inside nice atmosphere! We had the burgers and excellent tasting meat. Handmade.. fries and onion rings good. Our 2nd time we picked up philly cheese steaks to go… oh my.. disappointed in those.. it was all cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms… barely any meat.. cause it was so thinly sliced!! Growing up in Philadelphia, PA… I was very disappointed in their cheese steaks!!! They need more meat! We definitely wouldn’t recommend those! Stick with their burgers!!!“

“My love and I came before the Super Bowl and it was empty when we first arrived, but it’s becoming fuller as we’re about to leave. I got the Western Bacon BBQ burger meal with skinny fries, and the burger was so delicious, I told the cooks that they put BOTH feet into it, ensuring it was more delicious than I expected. My love had the turkey burger meal with skinny fries and really enjoyed it, even recommending I try it next time we return. Great customer service all around!“

“This was the first time that my husband and I visited this restaurant and it certainly will not be the last. The tenderloins, onion rings and fries were excellent. Super nice owners, extremely clean and the very freshest food, nothing is ever frozen. We really enjoyed the tenderloins... great job of perfecting a really good sandwich.“

“This Hamburger was good, the onion rings were delicious. I loke their jalapeños ketchup. They messed up in our order my husband ordered fries the guy never put it on the ticket so we ended up splitting the onion rings. We liked the different sodas they had. We will return and try something different.“

“My future husband and I came here because I was craving a hamburger. I love the old-fashioned building structure. It reminds me of east Texas. The customer service is excellent. “Some of the best burgers we've had! Cooked just right, juicy and delicious. I had the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. I'm picky about my sp fries, and these made the cut easily. Very good!

There is an extensive menu so we will have to come back for sure and try other things. This place is well worth the stop. Don't miss it!

“The party melt smashed was very delicious and it was more then enough for me. The thick shakes and the old fashion names of the soft drinks blew me away. The barrels of assorted pickles were also a bonus as well. I will definitely return here again and recommend it to others.“

“Burger was outstanding. And excellent value for what you get. Half pound burger less than 10 bucks.
Burger and onion rings are cooked to order. Burger was so juicy, it was dripping down my arm.
The lady behind the counter was very friendly and fast.
Interior is clean, nicely styled, and comfortable.
So much better than a fast food joint. Will definitely return when in the area.

“My stay was on Tues. Feb10th. Eric provided wonderful service in the dining room at Fifth & Commerce. The chef brought my food out to the table, complete with a skillet of melted cheese to top off my pasta & chicken. I had a very nice experience. Eric was professional and attentive.“

“This is where the old Jackson's Grill used to be, some 30ish years ago. If you remember how amazing those burgers were, the burgers at Nearly Famous taste just like them!!! One of the best overall burgers I've ever had! Also, the fries are cooked perfectly AND they have Big Red on tap!! I'm 10 years old all over again with a bright red tongue! Needless to say, I'm a regular!“

“First visit was memorable. The burger/fries and fried pickles were tasty. However, the service left a lot to be desired. No excuse for bad service, especially when you aren’t busy. And when someone screws up and can’t apologize, not sure we will be back. Involved the manager and still no remorse really. Disappointing. So, I recommend the food but the wait staff needs improvement.“

“Had a wonderful breakfast with our grandsons this past Saturday. Ashley our waitress was great with the boys. She made sure that they were happy the entire time. “Great experience when we went a few weeks back. They explained the menu and made quite a few great suggestions. We decided to eat upstairs outside and it was such a quiet atmosphere and you could see Ft worth/TCU. “The burger and fries were pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but they were definitely pretty good. What I really didn’t like was that they wanted to charge me almost $3 more to sub sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, when they only cost $1 when bought separately. I really don’t like when restaurants try to charge you extra like that for a side sub.“

“The hamburger meat was three times as thick as it used to be. It tasted better than ever. We had quit going to the old BB because the meat was only as thick as a sheet of paper. The only thing lacking was free refills on drinks. Our food came out exactly as we ordered it. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. We’re going back.“
