Out of a lot of items when we went there. We weren't greeted when walking in. Honestly, I felt rushed when picking out items. Shipley's quality was there for the food. Still a fine place to get kolaches and donuts!
Sunday is always a decent donut day. So, we went with Shipley Do-Nuts. Grabbed an apple fritter, old fashioned cinnamon roll and maple bacon raised donut.My wife has dubbed the fritter as the best she has had (good chucks of apple) but we have tried it there before so she thinks they are just inconsistent. The maple bacon was exactly as advertised. My only issue is with the cinnamon roll. Old fashioned or not, you should see or taste cinnamon in there. The nuts are alright but...read full review
