“This place is truly great. The food is hands down great. The staff is even better. Always stop by here. Once sometimes twice a week. Always greeted with a smile. I’m a truck driver. So the fact that they have a location we can get into with trucks to get some good grub is even better. I’ve had breakfast and lunch here. Both are great. Give it a chance they won’t disappoint. Don’t forget there 🔥 green sauce !! Thank you guys”

“It’s a true mom-and-pop restaurant. I guess for now, it’s only take-away service. The son took our order, grandpa kept a watchful eye on his grandson, and grandma delivered our food with the sweetest smile. The food is incredibly flavorful and authentic—clearly made with love. Great portions for the price, and the iced coffee was the perfect refreshing touch. Highly recommend for both the taste and the heartwarming experience. We found a perfect spot nearby at the Uvalde Memorial Park to eat our lunch.”

“I was in Uvalde this weekend and we where looking for a place to eat breakfast. Love the concept of two restaurants in one, this concept should be adopted (copied) by others in the industry. First time at this location, had an issue with my plate but the server Leesette took care of it (thank you!). Restaurant was very clean and food was good. A+

“I used to live here almost 30 years ago, so this restaurant wasn’t here then.
I went thru drive thru . The young lady was very sweet and helpful since I had never been there before.
After ordering my chicken dinner she asks I’m ok with to wait a few minutes for the chicken to made fresh. I said absolutely!
I Pulled forward and a young , friendly cook brought it out a few minutes later and apologized for the extra time , and I said “ no problem “ I will totally wait for fresh fried chicken “ haha

Anyway, it all was so fresh and delicious! Chicken was crispy and fried perfectly. The okra was awesome, and the green beans too!
And I appreciate the container that they put my food in, with a matching lid that had separate compartments,
That was a really good surprise that I wish other diners would do!
