Their corn tortillas were fantastic! Both red and green sauce were delicious, but something about the red sauce makes it my favorite of the two. I think it's the chili they use.I ate the first 3 tacos and the tripas were so good that I had to get 2 more. I don't normally eat 5 tacos during a single sitting, but here we are.Excellent taco truck and I'll definitely be going back!Edit: I've been back a few times, the last being just a few minutes ago. Always friendly service, the food is top notch, and two of us just absolutely stuffed ourselves for $24. I mean we ordered way too much food and couldn't even eat it all. The manager definitely had the team firing on all cylinders. - Anyone who’s experienced most meals after golf tournaments knows how hard that is to do. I especially liked the locally sourced hand-made desert treats after the meal. Bravo!”

“We waited to try Lupe Tortilla at least a few weeks after it had opened so that all the expected crowds and knicks would be squared away ( 10/24/25). Much to our surprise and disappointment they were not! After a 45 minute wait to be seated our food took another 45 minutes to come out....I do have to point out it was hot and delicious. However the disappointment came with not 1 salt shaker that could be found in the restaurant and when one was finally found we had to share it with two other tables ! Talk about germs going back and forth 🤢 Then the next shock was when it came time to close our tab and my boyfriend was going to pay with 2 $50's the waitress who was great and very embarrassed about all the flaws had to break it to us that the Manager said they had no change for a $50 !!! Will we go back ?!?! Not to sure at this time ....The food and environment are very nice but I do hope they can fix the small things that can knock a restaurant down.”

They gave me a surprise birthday dessert (it was enough to share with my party). And on my way out the door I received a birthday card and a gift card for another pizza! They made my day so special! That meal was my birthday gift, and they made it a gift that kept giving. It being right after Christmas, the experience was memorable and special! Thank you, Courtney, and the Via 313 team!”

My daughter loves getting pizza while I grab the chop salad, and this spot is easily in our monthly rotation.”

“AVOID this place!! While the food is pretty good, portions are average to small for the price. The salads were fresh and the calamari was light and crispy, although a small portion for the price. The bathroom is immaculate and the scent of Lysol is overwhelming. Be warned the service is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Empty appetizer plates sat on our table for our entire meal. I asked for the check and they left dirty plates. They brought check and again left the dirty dishes. I put the cash tray on top of the dirty dishes thinking they would take it all. Wrong, they picked up the cash tray and STILL left the dirty dishes! I asked to speak to the manager and was told there wasn't one today. That could have been a lie, who knows? When she brought the change she took one of the plates. The restaurant was not overly busy, maybe 4-5 tables, so she wasn't overworked. Needless to say her tip was minimal, but I didn't stiff her. I probably should have. I spent my college years in foodservice and normally tip 20-30%. We will NOT be going back and recommend that you avoid it as well. It speaks volumes that there hasn't been a single review in over a year. One out of 5 stars.”

“I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't so freaken cold all the time. Drinks are great since I love summer moon unique flavor but this location is always so cold. I've lived in Kyle for 2 years and every single time I come here it's so cold. I don't enjoy being inside so I end up going to other coffee shops. Even during the winter, the heater is never on. Sometimes it's colder inside than outside when it's cold weather. It doesn't feel cozy or comfort to be in here.”

“First of all, the best gingerbread cookies we’ve ever had. So delicious! We love all of the decorations they put up through the year (but they really go bonkers at Halloween and Christmas and we walk by almost daily between September-January haha). And we love getting a gingerbread house to decorate during the holidays! All of the treats are amazing. We recently got to try some of the Boozy Bonbons and while the wine flavor is front and center at first, as you savor it the chocolate gets a chance to melt in and shine through and the flavor combo is great! Can’t recommend everything The Gingerbread House has to offer enough!”

“We have been coming to this place for many years and have never been disappointed. Fajita nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas (served on corn and not flour tortillas), tacos, huevos a la Mexicana (their cooks love Serrano peppers so beware!), carne guisada, and Garcia's chicken fried chicken. You name it, it's all good.

Many of the same waitstaff have been there for a long time so management must be good. The food is what I would think is more traditional Mexican and not Tex-Mex, so it doesn't taste like other Mexican restaurants in the area, and in my opinion, it's actually better, so don't confuse them. It's a small family owned chain focused in the area just south of Austin and each location we've been to, we've not been disappointed.”

“I frequent Papa Murphy’s at least once or twice a week, and I have yet to be let down. The pizza is consistently top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and generously piled with high-quality ingredients that actually taste like food, not cardboard disappointment. The staff operates like a well-oiled machine—quick, efficient, and polite. Special kudos to the young gentleman working the front; not only was he respectful and professional, but he practically sprinted to assist me, which made me feel like I was picking up pizza from a Michelin-starred gym. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and offered great topping suggestions for my picky family.

All in all, this location runs like a pizza-powered dream. If you want fast, friendly service and reliably delicious take-and-bake pizza, this is the place. 12/10—highly recommend.”

Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.”

“We’ve been longtime Freebirds fans and really want this location to succeed. The staff was friendly, and the manager went out of his way to cut fresh cilantro for us (after 2 other employees went to the back and said they were out), which we appreciated.

That said, our visit had several operational and cleanliness issues that were concerning. Some food on the line looked dried out or old, and there was spilled food left on the counter that wasn’t cleaned between orders.

For example, the employee preparing a burrito for the guest in front of us rolled it, unrolled it, and then gave it a firm smack on the counter, which caused part of the filling to spill out onto the prep surface. The mess that was left was then wrapped anyway. Fortunately, the customer asked for it to be remade and received a fresh one. However, the spilled food remained on the counter and was not wiped down before additional burritos (including ours) were rolled up on that same surface. We were handed foil with gunk all over it!

The tea station was out of order, and we weren’t informed before purchasing a drink. I bought the almost $3 cup for iced tea.

I do want to note that the young woman assisting us was very sweet, professional, and patient throughout the experience. I believe she said her name was Vanilla. She seemed to be doing her best in a challenging environment and handling situations that pointed more toward training and management gaps than individual effort.

I’m leaving 4 stars because the employees were kind and trying, but this location would really benefit from stronger leadership, better training, and more consistent attention to cleanliness and food handling.”
