“Just recently discovered this place and love their bread. The tamales are so good as well, we were planning on ordering from here for holidays. Would’ve given it 5 stars which to me is worth it because of the bread and awesome tamales, but the service from one lady leaves a lot to be desired. Rude for no reason. Don’t know if we’ll be going back, which is unfortunate because their stuff is great.“

“I drove 28 miles from my house in Brownsville to Lara’s Bakery in Harlingen to buy sweet bread for my girlfriend who is under the weather. She loves their sweet bread. I arrived 10 minutes before Lara’s Bakery opened. There was a line of people waiting outside. This is how good tasting sweet bread is sold here. Two ladies attending the customers are fast and friendly. Majority of customers were taking boxes of sweet bread plus a couple of bags..“
