“Today we went here to try something new. We perused the menu outside and were intrigued, to say the least. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The decor was neat and upbeat, and it was very clean. Now let's get to the good stuff, the food! I ordered the 6-piece wings, medium with Fried okra instead of waffle fries. The combo was reasonably priced at 12.95 with a drink. I usually like my wings without breading, but today, as I said, I was trying something different. WOW!!! The breading was so light and crispy and did not take away from the wing. The flavor was subtle, yet a little spicy. Again, not overpowering or swimming in sauce. My friend got the ones with NO HEAT and honestly, they were even better. The seasoning was perfect! The okra was superb. Just the right amount of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Again, not overpowering or too much breading. Now we get to the slaw. I never heard of Cider Slaw, but I am definitely a fan now. It was light and just a tiny bit sweet, but not drowned out by a sauce. The Waffle fries (My friend got them) were lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. I honestly told my friend that they were the best I ever had (I am not usually a fan of waffle fries.) My friend also got the mac and cheese, and it too was freaking amazing! Then you got a nice stack of wonderful pickles and an amazing sauce. Even the drinks were great out of the soda machine with perfect ice. The owner checked in with us to see how we liked it and gave us a little background as well. They said nothing is frozen and all fresh and it was very evident in the taste of our meal. We will definitely be back! I love supporting small businesses and this one is definitely worthy. Y'all try it and let me know how you like it!”

“This is a cash only place. I almost was short but had enough. Its always been that way. But I ordered for 3 and tried some new stuff. Egg rolls were good, love the tartar sauce on the shrimp poboy basket. Good fries/onion rings. And the cheese burger was great as always. Nice family run and operated.”

“Omg my son’s boss told him about Kelley’s and we had never ate there. We had just got off our 9-day cruise & wanted some serious comfort food. Kelley’s definitely fit the bill. Homemade hand-battered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes/gravy, fried okra, salad & fresh rolls! All servings were HUGE and delicious 😋 all for $16. I ate off of my lunch 3 times! We will def be back. Amanda was our server & she was on top of everything & great service. We were only disappointed that they were out of the Texas size homemade biscuits from the breakfast run. If you’ve never ate there before u gotta try it and u will be back.”

“Walked in and was met with salt of the earth people! Decor is awesome. People are chill and the day i went they had free soup. Food fornthe stomach and soul with shrimp, sausauge, potato, corn and heavenly spices. Place is badass. Oldest biker bar in galveston county with free pool on mondays”

“I need to be sure that I State this correctly and I wish that Google would give the address that I am writing because I go to many places. If this is the one on Palmer Highway it is the one I am reviewing. They are the best in the area the only one that may be a little better is the one in Kemah the one in Kemah is almost like a Gathering Place for everybody that wants a meal and to chat in the parking lot the one in Texas City Palmer Highway has an excellent and friendly staff. The one in Lamarque I would not call a fast food restaurant we once elected not to eat at the La Marque location because the line was so long and unmoving. We drove to Texas City got our food and drove past the one in the park again and it didn't look like the lion had moved more than two cars.”
