“First time trying this Sushi place, staff super friendly and attentive. Immediately helped me clean my spilled drink, however took a while to get a refill. Highly recommend it for anyone, luckily there’s vegetarian options. One thing I would say, it’s not kid friendly environment, I’m shocked the parents let their toddlers sit by the revolving plates, each lid was being left open by the kids and not grabbing the plate. Personally I wouldn’t trust grabbing a plate if the lid was left open by toddlers and the parents don’t do anything. One thing I didn’t like or agreed with is they’ll have the same sushi going chorices until someone grabs it, my sister grabbed a plate and the fish was warm and you can tell it’s been sitting on the plate for a while, it was stinky. Fish has a smell I get it but this smell gave the impression when you leave the fish sitting out for way too long and shouldn’t be eaten.“

“Been here a couple of times and let me tell you guys that I have never been let down. The food is always amazing! The fish and other ingredients are very high quality and always taste so fresh. The owner, Chef Ruben, is highly skilled at what he does and offers the best customer service ever! Every time I come, I always feel welcomed as a long time friend. If you're ever in the area or need a quick pick-up, I would highly recommend this place. Being completely honest, I think I prefer this spot over an actually restaurant, it's so yummy!“

“this location really stayed true to the original flavor. everything was so so good. i usually don’t like thai tea but my bf got it and i tried it and it was really good. the sushi was a tad spicy but like im pregnant and sensitive right now. not only was the food super flavorful and fresh, our server sam was really funny and personable. paradise cafe was one of the first places my boyfriend and i went for a date and we were disappointed in the Mount Bellevue location and weren’t going to try the baytown location but we really wanted decently priced sushi and i’m so glad we went, it’s definitely going to be our new go to, can’t wait to try more of their dishes. again thank san, would’ve tipped more if i could, felt terrible for the amount i left. we ❤️ san“

“I'm not very familiar with the area, but I found your restaurant and decided to try it. I was clueless about what to order, but Piper was there and helped me create my first bowl. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. There is ample parking, and the restaurant was very clean, even the restroom. I told my brother and sister about the place, and now they want to visit. “I had a friend visiting from out of town, and I wanted to find a nice elevated dining place in Clear Lake. Luckily, I found Masa! To summarize my review before it begins, Masa is now my destination if I am craving sushi and Japanese food. The atmosphere was elegant, which makes it stand out from other surrounding sushi restaurants. We started off with cold sake and Ahi Poké Nachos, which were crispy and delicious. My friend and I split Sushi Combo C, which features 20 pieces of assorted sushi with California and Spicy Tuna rolls. The sushi was very fresh and skillfully made. The Tamago was freshly made with the traditional chopstick method. This was the best sushi I have had since I dined at Nobu in Las Vegas. Our companions had the chicken katsu Bento Boxes because they wanted an assortment of things to try. The tempura battered shrimp and vegetables were lightly crunchy and delicate. After dinner, the four of us had a round of Ninja Drop martinis, which were tangy and sweet. The owner, Michael Zhou (pronounced "zjoe"), came over to say hi. He encouraged us to try one of his favorite items, the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular. To finish, we had a couple of bottles of hot sake alongside some yummy mochi ice cream. Our experience was amazing. Our server, Jordan, took great care of us, and we all had a great time. I was looking for an elevated experience, and I got exactly what I was looking for and more. I can't wait to eat here again and try other things on the amazing menu!“

“Allow our 1st experience was not all that good, slow service, forgot drink order( girl who took order left without telling anyone my hot tea order). I commend the young man working he was waiting on people as fast as he could and did a good job. The food we ordered was very good. Looking forward to trying other items.“

“Went here for my oldest daughters birthday. As soon as we walked twords the hibachi my youngest with special needs panicked at the sounds and I’m assuming remembered the fire from last time. I had to sit off to the side where Vivian was so kind to me bringing me a menu so I could still pick out my food. My daughter was so worked up she was talking very loud and everyone was so kind to her, talking to her and giving her high fives! I asked for ice cream to try and calm her down and get her to sit down with our family and they were so quick to get it and bring it out. I realized she wasn’t going to go for it to which the staff seated me and my daughter off to the side where we could still eat. All of the waitress kept coming by checking on us and chatting with my daughter. As a special needs mom I worry about this kind of thing happening and how people would react. It completely warmed my heart to have the whole staff of the restaurant be so kind and accommodating!“

“I had the sweet and sour shrimp and veggie lo mein. By far and wide the best lo mein I have had in a while. Idyllic balance of noodles and veggies in my opinion. The S&S shrimp was a little overcooked, but the flavor was nice. We also indulged in a couple of the Boba infused smoothies. The boba was a little chewy for my liking (I have only previously had the types that burst and have liquid inside), it was like chewing a gummy bear. The smoothies were good, but I may have to hold the Boba next time. Overall, our little family impromptu picnic lunch was fun and filling.“

“This place was a staple for me back in Pearland, but glad its found a home in Pasadena. The food is just as great as the first time I tried it. It's good prices for reasonable portions. Definitely a get away place for date night or just meeting friends. Try the Royal Alex roll. Service is exceptional.“
