Pretty Good Place , I feel some of these reviews don’t specify on what time and day they come in . For Sure weekdays are the days and weekends especially Sunday be prepared to be patience I see that church across from there. Only two servers managing everything that’s some dedication!
After traveling from Houston, we got to the restaurant with about 20 minutes until closing. They quickly sat us down and we ordered the Special. The food came out in about 5 minutes. The enchiladas were good and the carne guisada was tasty. The tortillas were good. The waitress and staff were friendly. It was a quaint little restaurant.. If we are ever in La Vernia again, we will definitely stop by !!

We came in 30 minutes till closing on a weekday. The ladies taking care of our order and the rest of the floor were amazing. The food was fresh. Puffy tacs could have been more flavorful. Beef fajita was tendr and very tasty. Having some music going could be a great attribute to the atmosphere. Will try them again.
