“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“Whitney with Offline - We originally were going to go to 1Watson but I didn’t pay attention to their hours and they were closed. Thankfully Double Standard is right down the block so we decided to try it out. We both got the DS Burger which was very delicious. Definitely a messy burger as mine fell apart in my hands but it was worth it. It was happy hour so we tried out the $1.50 Oysters, they were fresh and tasty! To finish off the meal we shared the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. It’s a nice light cheesecake with a buttery crust. Throughly enjoyed all the staff, food, and atmosphere!“

“JP is a very nice place, awesome to hang out and listen to the music. My one and only issue I had yesterday on Father's Day as mentioned below. 1. The beer was warm even after having it in a bucket with the 1st pack of ice. We had to buy 3 more pitchers of ice and even that did not help to bring the beer cool or cold. We ended up drinking it with a cup of ice. It was as if the beer was placed in their refrigerator an hour or so before they opened. And served. And yes I understand there's options that we could have done but that's not the point. We like going to JP but they need their bottle to drink a lot COLDER especially for the summer. Another thing to mention and this will help everyone. Their staff inside need to do less talking and pay attention to the service window. Thank JP for all you ❤️“

“I have only been to this venue twice--once for some country dancing with friends, and once when they hosted the Algo Nuevo Wednesdays event. The venue is pretty cozy with a very small dance floor. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The bar staff was amazing! We ordered a variety of drinks. The bartender gave us several sodas that were not the best. We were fine with them and said nothing. Within minutes of sitting at a table, the bartender swapped out our drinks. To me, that action not only showed great character but also a level of care and attentiveness that can be difficult to find these days.“

“We haven't been here yet since we've been back in SA but it was here 10 yrs ago and I went many times... Its a drive thru... like drive right thru the middle of the bldg... You can get beer & cigarettes & margaritas.. snacks and fun things... The prices are kinda high but worth it to see all the pretty girls working there! It's just fun... and you get real good service..“

“The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum is definitely a place to visit while you’re in San Antonio!! The amount of animals and artifacts on display are absolutely amazing. I’ll have to try their restaurant the next time I’m there, but overall with it being my first time visiting the Buckhorn I give it a 10/10! 😁“

“I love this bar! Star was the best bartender ever. She let me sample the beers so I didn’t buy anything I didn’t like and was really knowledgeable about the stuff they had on hand. I think the best part was all of her recommendations for places to eat around San Antonio. I’ll definitely be back to see her and all of her coworkers if they’re as good a bartender as she was :)“
