“Got breakfast here. They have a weird way of ordering food where you have to order at the golf store and then walk over to the Cafe. Food was overall what I expected, not a 5 star meal but decent enough. I noticed the staff really don't look like they want to be there.”
“They were so kind and helpful! I ordered like 4 sandwiches, 2 drinks and 3 chips and they helped me fit everything in a bag and etc so I could get to the car! They have a really great attitude and vibe! Absolutely love it!”
“Subway is an great way to customize your sandwich. The bread is baked daily. The meat is sliced that morning. Vegetables are cut in the morning and stored for the day. To save money: go the Subways website to sign up for their text messages or money saving emails. The Subways on base will honor these coupons.”
“Courteous staff, good quality food. This place gets BUSY during basic training graduation weekends. The meat quality could be better, but it's fast food, so the bar is low enough for 4stars.”
“The food is ok at best, my family and I ate there this last weekend as a quick stop. We dined in to ensure the freshness of the food would be hot. What we thought would be a great meal turned out to be something that we were all left wanting something else. None of us finished our meal for many reasons. The juice soaked through the buns so fast that it became a soggy mess that actually would have been better off eating with a fork. I asked for no lettuce or tomatoes on mine and got lettuce and no pickles. The flavor of normal was way off on the fries like the oil had not be changed in a good while. There was an overwhelming smell of burnt food at the counter when ordering that was a bit of a turnoff as well which may have caused the partial loss of appetite. Top all of that off with folks taking your order consistently clearing their throat to the point you could hear the congestion really set things off for us. To make things even better, none of the fountain drinks were working and we were stuck to having the lemonade. But as a side note, the lemonade is likely the best thing at this location!”
“Amazing location. Workers were so friendly. It got busy and they kept pumping out the drinks like it was nothing. And they still were friendly. Drinks were amazing too. Short wait times despite how busy.”
“This BK is the BEST! The food is BK. So standard affair. It's the friendliness that draws me back. It's always a quick visit to say hello to friends and family.”
“Originally their hours opened at 0600 but in the past week, they now open at 0700. Located in in the new WHASC building (Bldg 4554). They are closed on holidays, most Family days, and weekends. Busiest times are at 0830, between 11-1230, and around 1400. They have readers for phone apps, and the ladies there provide excellent wait and customer service and deliver it quickly. No mistakes yet and I've been going to Starbucks at work for almost four years. :)”
“The staff and environment was wonderful. I really enjoyed getting to know all who served us. However I found the food to be very saucy and processed . I am not sure who sets the menus but I had hoped for more contemporary food. I ordered Cod thinking a nice piece of fish but that was not the case. It was served mashed up and served wrapped in a pepper with sauce. Lots of sauces and salty unfortunately on three courses. I was excepting contemporary and farm to table fresh. But the experience was very fun with wonderful wine pairing. I love my desert which was a cheese plate. My husbands salad was beautiful and very tasty as were the ribs. Wonderful people and service and I believe the students will be the cream of the crop when they come out.”
“I got the Lemon Sugar crepe, and it tasted amazing. The tart lemon balanced with the sugar and whipped cream nicely. Our server Freddie was very kind and provided fast service.”
“Carl’s service was personable, helpful and attentive. Food was good. Spinach salad very flavorful.Meatballs good flavor but a bit chewy like they were worked too much. Pizza was delicious. Ordered the Stout Special Pizza. Broad varied menu, perhaps a bit too varied. I was tempted to try the sea bass special but it had been long day so comfort food was what we wanted. Interesting specialty cocktails, tasty. Only bottled beer. No draught. Overall, good experience. Would return”
“Our dinner at Bliss was phenomenal to say the least. The food, the ambiance and the charm of the restaurant create an unforgettable dining experience that keeps us coming back for more!”
“Great atmosphere, food, prices, and hospitality! We came to Oasis just by chance and we are so glad we did. Immediately we were welcomed by JP, who was incredibly hospitable. Told us a little about their menu and one of their most popular drinks the Trifecta! We ordered 3 of those and couple chilli dogs. They did not disappoint! The price of the food and drinks compared to how much you get made us feel like we were robbing them. Huge drinks and hotdogs! We were glad we shared. We walked to the chill area where they were playing La Bamba! That was a nice touch too! The space was so clean too. We already can’t wait to go back!”
“Fantastic place to go if you love sweet treats wonderful bakery with fresh baked goods that will delight atmosphere is lovely and downtown San Antonio staff is friendly. I was just brunch here if you’re visiting they have homemade orange juice and mimosas. You could also fill a box full of pastries to take to those who you live they will thank you. #soldbyLucie”
“This was our first time trying Revolutionary Wings and it was worth the trip. This being our first time, we tried a variety of menu items including the dill pickle wings, black garlic wings, hot Cheetos wings, chicken and Belgium wings and the mild and medium wings. The wings themselves were large and perfectly cooked. The flavors were all very good, the family enjoyed all of them and each of us had a different favorite. We also ordered a southern burger and the margarita flatbread. The flatbread was great, loaded with fresh tomatoes and cheese. Unfortunately the wings were so filling that we had to take the burger home to eat tomorrow - yes, the wings are that big and filling. I would highly recommend giving them a try the next time you are in the mood for some good and creative wings!”
“First time here, and experience was good overall. Would have been four stars except that I noticed after I had already paid for my order that I ordered what was a pre set combo they offer for less and the attendant didn’t recommend I order that instead, would have saved me some money that would have showed more concern for the customer. Yeah I know let the buyer beware, but I don’t think that any service based facility would like to be seen by that standard. I probably would have still spent the same but at least I would have able to try something else as I had set my limit to $35.”
“Holy. Damn. Came here yesterday & even though there was a long line, we were seen & got our food quickly. The fries were perfect, hot, fresh, & crispy & the burgers were so good it was an intimate moment. The customer service was excellent, from the person who took our order in line, to the lovely woman at the window!Highly recommend you order from here! Will be coming back!”
“The food was good and hot. My favorite was the dolmades. The tzatziki was fresh and delicious. Lamb was also delicious and tender. I really enjoyed the fries with feta. Service was friendly. Atmosphere could use a little touching up. It seems a little cramped and fast-foodish. Their food outmatches the atmosphere.”
“Was craving Asian comfort food but am very picky (I don't do chains for Asian food) so it was a treat to find this little gem in San Antonio. The owners are so nice (the kids are adorable) and very friendly. But never mind the service, lets get to ambiance and food. Although small, the restaurant is very Instagram-able, all the walls have beautiful or interesting artwork. Very cute! The food was terrific. The chicken karaage was crispy and the sauce was a little unique. Add a little of the Japanese hot chili powder and you're good to go! Both regular and spicy edamame had good seasoning and cooked properly (I hate soggy edamame!). For mains, we had the Chicken fried rice which was tasty. My friend who loves spicy, had the volcano heat bowl with chicken and he said it was delicious and wolfed it down in minutes. What I absolutely loved was the Winter special Yoshiya Beef Udon. The beef was tender and the broth was full of umami, hearty and very satisfying. I ate it all and drank down the last of the broth, too. Highly recommend that you try this place. Owners are originally from Los Angeles and their recipes are on par with my favorite places in LA and SF. If I ever make it back to San Antonio, I'm stopping here for sure!”
“Best Burgers and service in San Antonio. Jayden who took our order at the drive thru really provided great courteous service. SW Military is the perfect restaurant location for dining.”
“It's been 3 years since we had taco truck tacos in San Antonio, although Tacos La Salsita are now pricing their tacos at $1.50, in comparison to just $1 per taco from 3 years ago, they're still the cheapest and still tasty compared to the other taco trucks around.”
“The whole experience speaks PB&J! The food is amazing, the wide variety of options for your PB&J sandwich are great. Also, the environment really makes you feel like you're at mom's or grandma's house eating a homemade PB&J and the service follows suit! Highly recommend!”
“My Alamo Ranch favorite! I've been a loyal fan of this this place ever since it has been open, and it NEVER disappoints. The food is a delicious and healthy option; plus, with the many different combinations to choose from, it never gets old. The staff are prompt and helpful when it comes to recommendations, too. If you're in the area ( or not ), definitely try out Bowls N Go!”
“Hidden gem on the NW side of SA! Portions, flavors, and quality of the food were spot on. You can tell they cook with love. Also, might be top 3 in lattes I've had in my lifetime. If you're a coffee lover, try the lavender latte.”
“Great service! Liliana at the window was friendly, and read me my order to ensure everything was prepared right. Ian the Drive thru attendant was able to let me know the time to stop in before rush hour happens (between 5-6pm) Food is always fresh! Thanks Burger Boy staff!”
“We were visiting from out of town and I was craving Filipino food — so glad we found this place! We had the lechon kawali, sago to drink, chicken adobo and breakfast tapa. All delicious and well-done. We bought a flan to take home in the grocery part of the store and it was also really yummy. It’s cutely decorated too — the painted walls are beautiful and festive. We are in the main room, but there also was a smaller room/section that had an even more tropical islands vibe.Note: Coffee usually comes with evaporated milk on the side. Just FYI in case you don’t like your coffee sweet—just ask for regular milk.I was a little disappointed in the turon dessert we ordered and had there — it wasn’t as traditional as I would have preferred, but I didn’t knock it for that since the Ube ice cream with it was really, really good and everyone else at our table devoured it.”
“I’m local to San Antonio and when I’m downtown this is where I get my tacos! The tacos and all of the breakfast is great here. The restrooms are for customers only so they are clean and orderly. Make sure you check it out☺️”
“I have never eaten Indian before trying it here and the flavors are phenomenal. The food was very tasty and had different levels of spice to everyone's liking. I highly recommend, especially if you have never had Indian food before and are looking to try it! The service is outstanding as well.”
“We came to the base to visit my brother, and he recommended coming to this plaza for lunch. I haven't eat popeyes for a long time. The chicken and fries were good! My brother was excited to eat here since his meals during training weren't that good. It gets very crowded here during lunch time, so you may have to go somewhere else to sit down and eat. We got lucky and found a table in the starbucks area.”
