“If you like amazing hidden gems and hole in the wall restaurants, then please. I beg of you, try this place. This place is just so exceptionally good I can’t recommend it enough. Despite being in the middle of a gas station, from the first bite I took of my chicken tikka masala, and my garlic naan, I felt like I was eating at a dinner table inside someone’s home. It’s so authentic. It feels like the owner is sharing a treasure trove of family history and culture all through his cooking. Not to mention he was hospitable, gave us free waters, and came to our table and briefly spoke with us when he wasn’t busy to see if we needed anything. I will absolutely be back. This place deserves to be its own free standing restaurant with reservations booked solid for weeks at a time. I truly believe this is the best food you can eat anywhere in the Gainesville area, and I’ve lived here almost 20 years.Indian Dhaba, I will absolutely be back.”

Th3 salmon was a little dry and out waitress was going to cut that out of our bill and we said no we just wanted to let her know it was a little dry! “Somebody needs to put me on pastry restriction! I love everything here. The strudel, fried pies, kolaches, bread and other treats. My granddaughter likes the chocolate fried pies. They are good but I like the Apple strudel and fruit fried pies.Parking: Plenty of parking. If you are getting back on I35, it’s easier to stay in the service road, go down through the light, stay on the service road to enter I35 that way. The construction makes it difficult to enter right there by Rumpy’s and it’s a blind merge.Kid-friendliness: A little souvenir area with fun stuff for kids. I’m going to get a couple of those rubber squawking chickens next time I’m in.”

“They were very kind and welcoming immediately as we walked into the door. We got to choose where to sit which is great when you are with a service animal. Our waitress was so sweet and remembered everything we asked for. She even allowed me to speak some Spanish to her and she didn't bawk at me attempting to do so. The food was very good and it came out really fast. I had the flautas and they were hot and fresh. The rice was so good! My husband had the migas and they were good also. “We've been wanting to try Medina's for sometime now and finally did recently. We weren't disappointed with the meal. We had a fajita enchilada dinner plate and shrimp ala diabla plate. The chips and salsa are good too and the sweet tea is excellent. We plan to come back for breakfast one day soon and will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.”

“The restaurant has changed so much since it opened. The cook from the closed Collinsville location is now at Lake Kiowa. We had fresh good food, and the lodge type building atmosphere was nice. Small but cozy place. The best guacamole salad ever!”

“Robby’s is amazing. I’d put him against any BBQ IN Texas. I mean Any of the best smoke houses in Texas. The Brisket is mouth watering, juicy, and tender. It melts in your mouth. The smoke ring is perfect and the bark is incredible. You almost need a spoon to eat it. His ribs are out of this world good. Literally falling off the bone tender. Moist and tasty. An excellent level of smoke. Complimented by their BBQ sauce that’s rich and delicious. The perfect mix of richness and spice. It definitely has a molasses decadence. You can’t talk about this restaurant without mentioning the sausage. Cheddar and Jalapeño. The bark and smoke is mind blowing. It literally pops when you bite into it because of the crispiness of the casing around the sausage. I’ve tried everything on their menu and have never been more impressed. Robby’s makes the best potato salad. Takes me back to when I was a kid. Now, you can’t go to Robby’s without getting their banana pudding. It’s the perfect desert to end the perfect meal.”
