“While the interior looks like your basic small town donut place, the donuts taste a lot better than those. Just trying one donut hole told me the difference. Most places seem to use the same batter but this place makes them taste like vanilla. We wanted to try almost all the donuts and while we were picking through them, the worker did everything with a smile while also simultaneously working the drive thru. She bounced around and never showed discomfort and annoyance. She was happy to add filling to some which made her have to also run to the back and back to the front. It was nice to see they also have gluten free on certain days. When we were done, she had another big smile while saying thank you for coming by. Nothing spectacular inside but no one cares. The coffee is by Coffee Traders by the way. I’ve heard of rave reviews for them. My blueberry cake donut was basic but still loved it and my kids loved the themed donuts. They also do the gourmet types with various cereals. Nice and fast workers, clean store, and good donuts.“

“My mom and I went there last month and we had such a great experience!! Our server (forgot her name, I’m so sorry!) was so kind and she was so knowledgeable about the wines that were made. We were able to sit outside which was even better (we’re from Wisconsin so we loved being on the patio). We loved the experience so much that we came the next day for the live music that was going on. I loved how the bartender was so knowledgeable about the wines as well. 10/10 recommend!!! ❤️“

“My daughter had a photo of an unusual wedding cake that she wanted for her wedding. The cake that Sweet Treets designed was EXACTLY what she had in mind --- & it was DELISH too!!“

“Obsessed with these little guys. A sweet treat that’s not terrible for you. In fact, I feel good eating them because of the clean ingredients and protein. I’m always short on protein, so having it in a muffin I love is a major win. Side note: it’s impossible to have just one.“

“Tadashi is a solid sushi spot in our neighborhood, and it’s great to have a place like this nearby. This time, we ordered Salmon Fatty Nigiri, Ebi Nigiri, and Salmon Nigiri. The Toro Tuna was excellent—something that’s rare to find at this level in Austin. The other nigiri were also well-prepared and fresh.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have Sea Urchin Nigiri this time, which is usually one of our favorites. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a great post-movie stop, especially since it’s located in a plaza right by the theater. Reliable, high-quality sushi for the area, and definitely a go-to for a casual but well-executed sushi experience.“

“I have picked up food from here twice. the place is really sketchy looking - like the stop light with the electric wire coming out of a downspout from the roof gutter. But you are not here to read about the architecture.
I have had the coconut chick soup twice & it is absolutely delicious. the hot & sour soup is an inedible salt bomb. The duck with veggies was great it comes with a chicken wing & a small soup, the dish had lots of duck for 12.50. both duck dishes are really good.“

“This crew is awesome and these other reviews are nuts and/or wrong. Super nice greeting every time and the pizza prep and cook are always spot on. My son loves dominoes but I generally try and order from locals. That said, I can’t believe the other petty reviews on here. Really great folks, great care in prep, and an incredible value. Thanks!“

“The cheese enchiladas are the best we have ever had! We live out of town but visit family in Austin every few months. We always pick a day to go to Maudies in Lakeway. They are always consistently the same, always great! Also their salsa and Queso are great. Good salsa can make or break my opinion of a tex-mex restaurant.“

“It was my first time here, Forrest asked all the right questions to get our order exactly how we wanted it. The food was delicious! We ordered a strawberry daiquiri, espresso martini and the [surprise coctail of Forrest’s choosing] the pain killer, great solid choice. I expected a 10/10 view and mediocre food but even the chips were mind blowing!! Food came out extremely fast too!

The steak was tender and the jalapeño poppers and pickle spears were perfection.

We got the app plate + chips, steak quesadilla and steak fajitas. 🤩

P.S. the valet was awesome. He literally ran to our car and also opened the passenger door for me. Really nice and attentive, above and beyond experience from everyone onsite.“
