“Over all pretty good meal! My chili cheese dog was decent hot dog. Chili was okay, not fantastic but cheap cheese was on top and not melted at all. So it was awkward. My wife’s roast beef sandwich was not wonderful…. She didn’t eat very much of it. Enjoyed the home cut fries. HOWEVER…. Do NOT pass on the TAMALES!!! Hands down the winner of this little dinner! Service was excellent! Great vibe and best thing they do a pay it forward feature!! Love it! Will eat here again for the tamales for sure!!“

“The Cherry On Top has become a go-to spot for our family. My girls love it! The ice cream is always fresh, they have good flavor options, and the staff is consistently friendly. It’s a nice, clean place to stop for a treat, and we always leave happy. Birthday parties are also a hit there! Definitely recommend 🍨🍒“

“Stopped to get gas when traveling through Lampasas and couldn’t resist the smell of BBQ. Had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! Great flavor and large portion. If I pass through Lampasas again, I will make it a point to stop and eat at Young’s BBQ. Some of the best BBQ I have had!“
