Surfing Crab Laredo Reviews
Without a doubt,my favorite restaurant! Been stopping by at least once a week since February, not joking. Seasoning and temperature of the food is always on point, whether it's for pick up or dine in. Not forgetting to mention the amazing staff like Alyssa, Merzadeis, Ashley. Thank you girl's for always being so attentive with this nagging customer😅👌👌
Apparently you have to bring your own scale here when you come to eat. Waiter was told (admitted he messed up) and manager still asked us to pay for the error. We asked for lunch portion and was given extra.
Love the food!!
It’s my favorite place for dinner any day of the week!!!

Surfing Crab Laredo is a popular spot that offers a variety of seafood options, including lobster, shrimp, snow crab, crawfish, and oysters. The menu features a special sauce that can be ordered spicy, which many customers find delicious. The restaurant has a kid-friendly menu, with a cheeseburger option that is quite large. Prices are reasonable, and the seafood boil daily special, costing around $30, includes a mix of seafood, corn, sausage, and potatoes. Many customers say it is the best seafood boil in town, with some visiting about three times a week and finding the prices very affordable compared to other fast foods. Takeout is also praised for being just as tasty as dining in, making it a convenient choice. The restaurant allows outside food for picky eaters, making it family-friendly.
Dining at Surfing Crab Laredo can be a messy but fun experience, as some seafood options require gloves, a bib, and utensils, which are provided by the restaurant. The surfing special seasoning, a blend of all the restaurant’s seasonings, is described as delicious but very buttery. Customers mention that the place is better than others in town, with good flavor, prices, and service. An order like the #1 combo with shrimp, crayfish, black mussels, and sausage provides a large amount of food for three people. The calamari appetizer was not very good, but overall, the experience is positive. The ambiance is casual, with some old decor, but that does not take away from the fun atmosphere.
Overall, Surfing Crab Laredo is a popular spot for families and groups celebrating special occasions or simply craving good seafood, offering a fun and enjoyable dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit better, and many customers highly recommend the place for its flavorful food, reasonable prices, and lively vibe.
