“Stopped through here on the way back to San Antonio. I don't know who decides where up put one but I need one of these in San Antonio. The carne asada and pastor tacos were excellent, from the way they were seasoned, down to corn tortillas. Oh and the plantains....chef's kiss. See you next road trip.“

“I just have to say, Pablo’s was really great. It started off a teeny bit rough. We had a server stop at our table to let us know that he was going to be our sever then he didn’t come back for a long time. He ended up walking by us again and asked us if we had been helped. Kind of a strange question since he said he was going to be our sever. But an amazing server named Ruth came to help us and she and everyone did everything to make it better. The service ended up being fantastic and friendly. And the food was just as good. Great atmosphere and just the fact that little hiccup was made right is what will keep us going back.“

The service we received from Pearla was spot on! She was very welcoming and anticipated our needs carefully! Our new go to place when we are out this way now!“

“Cannot recommend the food at Carmona's enough! It is some of the most delicious Mexican food I have eaten that's not actually in Mexico! It can be a little hard to find parking sometimes but it's worth it. Great people running the restaurant too. Look forward to coming back for more fantastic food. 😀“

“Highly recommend trying the Topo Chico preparado! In Texas summers, this will hit the spot. We ordered the Botana con Camarón y Pulpo but requested the cooked shrimp because of a dietary restriction and the owner was more than happy to help and offer suggestions. The snack options are great but I have to say the family recipe with which the seafood plates are made takes you straight to Mexico. We will be back to try more!“

“Amaya Mexica Restaurant in Rockwall is truly a hidden gem for authentic Mexican food. The mole enchiladas were absolutely delicious—finding a really good mole sauce is hard, and they nailed it perfectly. Rich, flavorful, and authentic.

Delia, our server, was delightful and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The customer service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Mexican flavors! 🌮“

“The Menudo was $18 and some change on Uber Eats which was expensive. Was it delicious, though? Absolutely!! It had so much meat and flavor!!

What about the taco plate for $17 and some change? The tacos were good because the meat itself had so much flavor and juices just dripping from the tacos. I chose Barbacoa meat!!

The fries were ok but not a lot.

I do recommend the menudo and the taco plate because all my specific instructions were followed and the food tasted good.“

“Sadly did not take any pictures of our meals but after living in the Royse City area for 4 years we finally ventured over to Los Pinos. We were not disappointed except for the fat rather we have not been here sooner. Good salsa and chips to start and a descent queso that would have been better with the meat added, solid in its own though. The soft cheese tacos and the Hermasillo were both very good and nothing was left on the plate. Definitely want to go back and try other things on the menu. Traditional Tex-Mex but it seemed really fresh compared to other Tex-Mex restaurants around the area.“

“I love this restaurant and I'm so glad that I found it. Their citrus lime shrimp is sooooo delicious!! I always double it on my bowl. Their burritos are huge. I really enjoy their queso and guacamole with their chips. Their tacos are good but I wish they offered a soft corn tortilla option. The flour tortilla didn't go very well with the shrimp, in my opinion. I didn't really think a crunchy taco shell would work either.
I really appreciate that they do not skimp on their portions. That's very important to me.“

“Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the portions were more than worth the price. It’s hard to find a place nowadays that still gives quality food at reasonable prices, but this spot definitely delivers.

The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the whole atmosphere made you feel welcomed from the moment you walked in. Everything tasted homemade and authentic, not rushed or bland like a lot of places have become lately.
