“Yall. My god. We were just cruising through town doing some wedding planning stuff and I almost stopped at whata until my fiancé said there was a southern place close by. This place took me back to my college days in Mississippi. There was a gas station right by my house that a family used to cook homemade soul food all day every day. The fried chicken is flawless. Juicy with the perfect salty light breading. The collard greens were fantastic I was drinking the juice. Fried okra, chefs kiss. And YALL the sweet tea is the best I’ve ever had. The owner and their staff are amazing and have great customer service. When I’m back in town next I know where I’m stopping. Side note: don’t listen to the ground noise with less than 5 stars their tastebuds just ain’t right. Thank y’all so much for a great meal!“
“What a wonderful place to have very tasty food in the Mall. This has its own entrance and the ambiance is pretty good. The place is well kept and most importantly, they have some wonderful sauces to try. The people there are very friendly and we were a group of 7 who sat very comfortably and enjoyed our meal. The Potato patties, chicken tenders, Shrimp over rice and Hummus and bread are few of the most enjoyable dishes with special peri peri fries. We had two kids and they enjoyed the meal as well. This is definitely going to be our spot to eat, even when we are not going to the mall. You can follow the AMC cinema entrance and it is right opposite to the AMC theaters.Once last thing: their drinks are pretty great, dry Mango lassi and mint mojito (non-alcoholic).Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.“
“First visit to Tumble 22 and it did not disappoint. You ever have a cake, and thank wow, that is a rich cake!! Well, that's what I thought of their chicken. I got the 2 piece fried (leg & thigh) which comes on a piece of bread with 2 bread 'n butter pickles on top, along with mac & cheese and collard greens and it was delicious! They gave me a free blueberry mini pie (first-time customer) and a $5 coupon for future use! They have different levels of heat for the chicken. Being my first try, (I don't like anything so spicy it over powers the food) I did just the "Hot" and it was on the money good. For my future visit, I'll try the next hotter version! For the price, the chicken, sides, flavor, and quantity, this will be a favorite stop for the family and I in the future.
