On this trip, good service, but the food was meh - and if you're going to have three young men standing around the host stand (how many hosts do you need?), maybe get them to actually DO something, like wipe down the disgustingly sticky menus, refill customer water glasses or something. \nBut we'll keep trying it whenever we're in the area - sometimes the food is outstanding.\nWish they had a fruit pie once in awhile, though . . .”

“Awesome place. From the food to the staff, the Tavern has made its mark in Liberty Hill. We have been coming regularly since they opened and have always had great service and food. The owner and team have done an excellent job making this a top notch place. Great place for kids to run around and play on the playscape, our daughter loves it and always meets new kids. The Tavern is absolutely five star.”

“We were in town for my son’s basketball tournament and decided to stop in for lunch. Upon arrival the staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot! “First time visiting this great place. Impressed with how smooth and clean clean the vodka is. The honey pepper whiskey was smooth and sweet. The owners are wonderful and friendly. The brewery had a nice selection with my favorite being Island Time which was a light and crisp medium bodied brew. Lovely place to spend an afternoon.”

I love that they have such a huge variety of sugar-free options—makes it easy to stick to my preferences without sacrificing flavor. My go-to? A blended sugar-free Caramelizer. It’s absolutely amazing.
