“ONE STAR They gave us the wrong order through drive thru, was short a sandwhich, and the other two were wrong. Drove back because they would answer the phone after I called and they hung up once i told them the issue. They remade our sandwiches, but they had so much mustard on them they were unediable and the bread was brick hard it hurt your mouth to bite the sandwich. Menu board was broken everything read $1 hand written sign read ask us for our prices. Total waste of $32 and a ruint lunch. They also gave us two sheets of coupons for our trouble, coupons good at Athens, Canton, and Corsicana but expire 9/30/24 THATS TODAY! This place needs to just close the doors it's not worth the headache of staying open. We are done with this store. After reading recent reviews on Google it's been like this for over half a year.“

“after moving here from California 6 years ago it's been very difficult to find a restaurant that serves a good menudo. I've tried many many places. yesterday my husband picked up my menudo order from El Jilo, brought it home, and I finally found it. you make the best menudo. so flavorful and full of tripe, just delicious. in addition, fresh homemade corn tortillas. you can't beat it. will be coming back for sure.“

One young man was noticeably upset and walked away from his register as it was our turn to order, so we had a 2-3 minute wait before one of tge other employees came over to take our order. The food was great and the restaurant is very clean. But the staff this afternoon fell short of the typical Chik Fil A customer experience.“
