“We planned to have Hutchins BBQ for lunch but the line was long so we looked for other BBQ to joints in the area and to my surprise there is a Tender Smokehouse close by. I’ve been wanting to try tender for years . I’m not sure how new the Frisco location is but there was no line and we got right in to order. The Customer service was top notch. We didn’t want or wait for anything. There was always someone asking if we needed anything. We had the fatty brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, and jalapeño sausage. All were amazing! For sides we had potato salad, mac and cheese, bbq beans, and banana pudding. All were really good! I never eat the plain white bread at bbq spots but Tender has buttered toast that I kept eating.I’m definitely glad Hutchins was busy and I found Tender Smokehouse.“

All of the employees we interacted with were nice and informative on our coffee questions. The seating areas are Super comfy and spacious. This is a great study and work environment. Now my only critique is within the bathrooms, there are no changing tables for the babies so parents, bring your stroller accessories to get the job done. My friends and I all tried different food trucks, and they were all just ok (wings, burger with mac and cheese, and fried chicken). There are so many options on the menu there is surely something to suit your fancy, from coffee, to teas to fruit drinks, multiple Boba options and some dessert choices. The seating area is clean and a quiet area to sit and relax. A must visit if you are looking for a refreshing drink or seeking a new boba spot.“

The interior has been changed a lot along with serving hot spicy chicken. One pepper is hot enough for me. We ordered two chicken meals and one order of tater tots which was too much. Jumbo shrimps are only offered in select Oriental restaurants. This place is not a member of that club by intent.The Grilled Whole Fish (sea bass a la Mediterranean or Bosphorus) had veggies (beets, carrots, cucumber and tomatoes). It was grilled perfectly and mercifully no butter had been applied. Reminiscent of the offerings along the Yenikapi Ferry Terminal but, of course, not as fresh. Catch and cook will always be incomparable.The Kunefe naturally did not have any artificial coloring because Turkish cuisine prides itself in avoiding artificial coloring.It is a little noisy inside but then if one is engaged in a deep conversation with one's dining companion then one can be oblivious to ambient distractions. The staff kept an eye on our table even from a distance.
