The worst part of my experience was trying to choose what I wanted to eat because everything seemed to be appetizing! They had a nice variety of options for anyone's appetite. Dishes were priced reasonably, & you definitely got your money's worth.This was the first time I tried out the place, & they definitely made a GREAT 1st impression, gaining a regular customer.
Very good food. The catfish was very mild.Super friendly staff!Only 2 drawbacks...the fried mushrooms were swimming in grease, and the tea was a bit off. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars!

Prices were not horrible for seafood, but portions were lacking. I blame the economy more than El Rey. Gator bites were the star of my meal. If the made an alligator gumbo with the alligator bites they serve. Boy that would be a treat.
