Freshest Tex Mex in town. I highly recommend the grilled chicken tacos. Ask for the green tomatillo sauce and Pico salsa on the tacos. It's so good.

It is no Cafe Rio, and a bit pricey. The workers are not very friendly or attentive.

Fresh food. Enjoyed the barbacoa enchiladas. Sauce is fresh tasting. Great value for portion size.
You may want to pass on the Tortilla Soup. Way to salty.

This is the best costa Vida I’ve been to! The workers were all so kind and helpful, the food portions are great, and the food tasted super fresh and good. I will definitely be coming back and often! They have a $7 student deal with a giant burrito and a date night special and wow I just love this place.

First time visit and overall it was pretty good. I was given a free guacamole/queso and chips for being a first timer. Nice touch. Chips were crispy with good flavor. Wish they were warm. Queso was thick and flavorful. You could tell the guacamole was fresh
Entree was a steak quesadilla with extra steak, cilantro lime rice, and pinto beans. This was all very fresh tasting and flavorful. Good temperature on all. My only complaint was that the steak was really chewy. Free soft drink as well.
Staff was very friendly and seemed very happy I was there. Nice facility. Look, this is not a true Mexican restaurant. Ads say "Mexican Inspired". However, for what it is aimed to be it was very good. I'll be back again.

The portion is crazy little, the employee scoop such little amount of rice and I asked for a little bit more and she said it was extra, I felt like I ordered a kids meal for $13 bowl.

So came in today to around 7:20 and was welcome with an empty restaurant and a rude staff (chunky blonde girl with pony tail at the register). As we ordered it seemed as if they were no help on their suggestions or what would be a good meat for the nachos. As I ordered we were unable to add any veggies, guacamole, sour cream or pico as she wrapped up my burrito and just threw it into the oven and didn’t ask what I wanted till she was already cooked it and folded it up. Terrible work crew better if you can’t deal with people don’t be in food

Costa Vida was good…salad, Baja Bowl was tasty but portion size a disappointment. Was not a fan of their in-store music and their app/loyalty program is average compared to some of their competitors.
But Qdoba (went once, never again) in Lubbock is awful, although there are some good Tex-Mex restaurants in Lubbock. And HEB grocery store is right across the street from CV! We would return
