“I am not typically a fan of Tex Mex cuisine, but my husband enjoys it, so I decided to give it another try. My husband suggested we visit Mi Cocina, as it is conveniently located near our residence and had received a 5-star rating online. We arrived around noon today. Our server, Jairo, was helpful in recommending a dish, which proved to be delicious, featuring a combination of various appetizers. The food was warm and served promptly. Jairo also suggested drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff consistently displayed friendly smiles, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Jairo and the staff deserve a 5-star rating from us.“

“I have been a big fan of torchys for so long , but this location is my favorite in particular! The atmosphere is fun and energetic with great staff that are very helpful. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting Caylon , and she was extremely patient with us as we can tend to be a bit indecisive . She was super outgoing and friendly which added to the experience as a whole , will definitely be coming back to this location !!!“

“This place is family run with heart. I’ve had many items off the menu and have never been disappointed. In fact each new dish has been better than the last. “This place is a solid spot for Mexican food. I hope to go back and try something with more flavor (and update my review). I ordered the nachos and they were plentiful and great value for the price. Somehow they were a bit bland and I really had to fix them up with the toppings. The margarita was also delicious. Service was quick, attentive, and efficient too.“

“First time was the best time, but then we went a second time and it was even better. Service was great. The food, Chefs Kiss👌🏼 Prices are great and well, we will be back for sure. I had the brisket nachos and Geez, they were amazing. Second time I got the chicken flautas plate. My husband loved it and the adult drinks, the pina colada on the rocks was delicious. Try them out and you’ll be back for more.“

“Went there on a Saturday night for the first time. Jackson was our server and she was so nice! Took the time to go over specials, and answer any questions we had on the menu.
The tacos al pastor really surprised me, they were delicious. They make the corn tortillas there, so they’re fresh and delicious.
They also have good deals on drinks.
Will definitely come back.“

“Went today for lunch about 2:30pm It wasn't to crowded that was a good thing Food was really good as always but the server had a really bad attitude His face was like he was angry!! Maybe not with us but he didn't do a good service. At the end we went to pay and his face was worse and he put the bill hitting hard the table . I totally understand that everyone has a bad day but if you work on this kind of job You can not treat customers like that Hope next time I visit the restaurant He'll not be my server“

“What a hidden gem I found ! Came for lunch and the garden out front is what I first noticed and what really drew me in. I took a moment to admire it before coming inside. Diverse life in there!
I ordered ceviche and a mango mojito. Both were delicious !! I then ordered the street corn which lacks some flavor but still tastes good! Bryan was my server and he is extremely nice and accommodating! Constantly checking up on me and has great conversation. I’ll definitely be back and recommend to anyone desiring some delicious authentic food and drinks!“

“Solid spot. Food was fresh and good location. We got chicken street tacos and birria ramen and tacos both with beef!
Ramen was solid, my only feedback would be to use barbacoa meat like a traditional birria would have. Many halal Mexican spots in DFW are able to source suppliers for this.

I just can’t believe they’re charging a whole $1.25 extra for anything with egg in it! Eggs are back to their regular price and the cashier still tried to up charge us for eggs.. We didn’t even order extra!! Plus you typically have to wait for them to come check you out or wait for her to get off her phone to ring up your order. Not sure I’ll be coming back or not..“
