We travel this road several times a year and love looking for hole-in-the-wall gems. Based on the previous two 5-star reviews, we stopped for lunch. Nothing fancy, inside or out and almost didn't stop based on appearance, but the food was delicious! I got the chicken taco lunch special: 2 hard tacos, beans and rice, chips and salsa $5.99. A long time friend recommended this place and I decided to buy him lunch. The place is easy to miss if you are not looking for it off Hwy 59. It's has a little rundown & outdated scenery but in a month this place will be relocated closer to Lufkin due to the Hwy expansion project. Not sure of the actual location at this time. This is pretty good. But if you come in a large group be prepared for very slow service. Already been here for over an hour and a half before only half of our group got food. Or even refills on drinks. Other than that the food is delicious.
