This little shop on the side of the road is worth the stop. Best breakfast tacos I’ve had in awhile. Prepared fresh for me. The boudin kolache was excellent. Spicy boudin wrapped in a sweet roll. The donut holes were fresh, fluffy, and perfectly glazed. Do yourself a favor and make this a routine stop.

I have to say the man cooks the best food I have ever tried. The menu consist of anything and everything from Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can sit down and eat or push a button. Great place, everyone that works there is good people! You wont be dissapointed go check it out!

Gilbert's Food and Beer serves delicious and reasonably priced dishes, including the popular street tacos, considered the best north of the border, and the generous breakfast sandwich on Texas Toast. The owner and staff are always welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is a great spot to grab a meal before work, with the beef tacos with pico de gallo and queso fresco being a favorite. They also offer a great selection of beer, including New Belgium Voo Doo Ranger.
