But this hotel is perfect if you need a great location, a quiet place to comfortably sleep, and a five-star concierge. Elsie (the owner/manager) is more helpful and knowledgeable of local resources and attractions than any four- or five-star hotel concierge or manager I have ever known (she was born and raised in Marfa). Likewise, the hotel is also cleaner than most hotels. Like, crazy-clean. It is definitely boutique, and not all rooms have bathrooms and showers (remember, it is boutique).I visited Marfa with a bit of hesitation due to its remoteness and questions of its services, restaurants and comfort, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will most definitely return again.“
