Carmen's Boutique Hotel Mexican • $
317 E San Antonio St, Marfa

“This is a boutique hotel. If you need valet parking, room service, or chocolates on your pillow at night, you may want to consider other accommodations. But this hotel is perfect if you need a great location, a quiet place to comfortably sleep, and a five-star concierge. Elsie (the owner/manager) is more helpful and knowledgeable of local resources and attractions than any four- or five-star hotel concierge or manager I have ever known (she was born and raised in Marfa). Likewise, the hotel is also cleaner than most hotels. Like, crazy-clean. It is definitely boutique, and not all rooms have bathrooms and showers (remember, it is boutique).I visited Marfa with a bit of hesitation due to its remoteness and questions of its services, restaurants and comfort, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will most definitely return again.“
