“Marfa Burrito is the kind of place that ruins your opinion of other great burritos. Not because it is fancy, quite the opposite. There are no gimmicks here. No clever names. Just soft, pillowy tortillas, grilled on a flat top until they surrender completely. The red sauce has bad intentions. It stains your fingers, finds its way onto your shirt, and has it's way with you. These burritos are built differet: a tortilla, meat, chile, heat, and so much love.“
“This place is run by a crew of incredibly kind, hardworking, chill women. The hard work comes through, the coffee rules, and it’s a great place to meet new folks or read a good book at the counter. I look forward to spending time here every time I visit Marfa ☺️“

“We went to eat dinner here and it was great. The dumplings were delicious and service was great. While not the cheapest option it was well worth the expense. I will say that the lobby when you walk in is dim to the point of too dark and it was a bit too quiet with spillover noise from the bar on the other side of the brick wall that doesn't extend to the ceiling.“

“Came here for dinner with my family and enjoyed the whole experience! Hostess was kind and let us know to sit where we’d like. Our waitress came fast with waters and to get our drink orders. She was so kind and attentive to filling our waters and asked us how everything tasted! Food was great, I had a very tasty chicken schnitzel with a kale salad. Best place to eat in Marfa, for sure.“

“Warning: If Kiarra is your server, make sure you check your bank statement against the receipt. My $115 charge after tip turned into a $118 charge on my card. I filled out both receipts, took a picture of them together, and left them on the table.
Yes, it's only three dollars, but changing the tip amount is immoral and wrong.“

“If you are in Marfa, you need to eat at Bordo. Full stop. Coming from two chefs on a road trip, this was one of our favorite stops.
Get the sandwiches. The house made bread alone is worth the visit, perfectly baked, flavorful, and the kind of foundation that makes every filling shine. We also loved the snacks, especially the olive plate, which felt thoughtful, balanced, and exactly what you want to graze on with a drink. Everything feels simple in the best way, high quality ingredients, done with care. Obsessed!!!!
The staff is warm and welcoming, the outdoor space is perfect for lingering, and the shop is stocked with awesome products you will want to take home. It is the kind of place that feels very Marfa, relaxed, creative, and quietly excellent. Easily a must eat while you are in town. Love it!“
