“While I truly dislike the fast food feel of metal plates, paper goods and no silverware, the food is always fresh and delicious! Some of the best food Midland has to offer, IMO. 👍🏻👍🏻“
“Place is kind of amazing. There is an excellent product I use regularly for which they charged $44, and the Whole Foods in Denver charged $49.95--until Natural Foods Market reduced the price to $41.25, and Whole Foods raised it to $59.95! How do they do that? A small business in a small market? All I know is I am really grateful every ten days when I buy it. It is also REALLY refreshing to come into a natural foods store and not be inundated by naive leftist opinions. Just good, solid, common sense folks, who are as nice and helpful as they could possibly be. I'm really favorable impressed, and can't say enough good things about what Larry Satterfield and his staff have accomplished, all on their own, in what had to have started out as a challenging market--this isn't exactly Austin. They deserve our loyal patronage.“

“Jason's Deli has always been my go to place for a healthy meal and no hassle salad bar, the low turn over by the staff is important to me and I see some of the same employees on each visit, I generally have the same thing all the time, today I tried something different and it was great, I love this place.“

“Strawberry Fields... forever! Wonderful gluten-free options (but do ask the grill to be cleaned before food is cooked, and fresh utensils used or celiacs may well have a reaction). Ask when placing an order if whatever you want can be made gluten free. Best for me is their chicken wrap (but I ask for turkey instead), which is not only tasty but a large enough portion to be two or three meals for me. There are even gluten-free deserts baked right on the premises.
The restaurant itself is a tribute to the late, great Larry Satterfield, Beatle fan extraordinare. High on the walls of the place we get to enjoy his collection of sheet music -- just the covers, most often revealing the faces of familiar singers and band members -- giving much to discuss with any fan of rock and roll you bring to dine with you. It's a cozy little cafe, with just enough room to scoot my wheelchair through it.
If you're looking for a quick meal (hot or cold options available) served cafeteria style, with both an ever-changing buffet and a built-to-order while you wait service, all at a reasonable price AND made with love and considerations for your health, Strawberry Fields cannot be beat.
Edit to add caution for celiacs: their care when cooking on the grill has slipped, so a word of warning to ask them to kindly take care when cooking a gluten-free meal. I recently ate there and, sadly, ended up quite ill afterward. Took a star off for the damage to my small intestines.“

“Amazing service by our waitress Alexandr. Food was awesome and I was really surprised how good the fried shrimp was. Definitely will recommend.“
