“First time here and we will be back! We had the Hokkaido croquette for our app. It was crispy and slightly sweet, a perfect light start to our meal. My husband got the Chicken Katsu Don Rice Bowl and I had the Pork Katsu Curry. Everything was sublime. I have been missing true Japanese food and it was like stepping back into Japan. One thing I have been searching for is a Katsu that is actually thick. Most restaurants in Houston will do a thin cut which dries out easy. They do it right here with their cuts being around 1” thick. Can’t wait to be back!“

I cannot stress how much cheaper this place is than other places. You could easily pay 50% more for the same thing at a restaurant that is super posh and high-end. “Tokyo Ramen & Sushi Japanese Restaurant has quickly become my favorite spot for fresh sushi 🍣 and Asian food. They offer a great deal of any two rolls for $16.95 and, in addition, they have great choices you can add a la carte if you want more.

In my video you can see (2) of over 40 different rolls and 6 pieces of sushi I ordered: two uni, two torro and two yellowtail belly.

“This is my favorite place to hangout with my friends. The servers were always nice and attentive until tonight. We came around 11:30pm with a party of 10 for a small birthday gathering and we acknowledged the kitchen closes at 11:45pm as well as the fact that our IDs will be checked for alcohol consumption. Our server gave us attitude while taking our orders, checking our IDs and raised her voice while telling us it’s their policy to do so, which we couldn’t think of the reason why we have to receive that attitude from her. I would still recommend this place because the food and the atmosphere is great, too bad we didn’t have a good experience tonight. It takes a lot for me to write a review for a restaurant so please retrain her so that your service quality can be consistent.“
