For this go, the family and I traveled 16 hours of interstate highway, including through beautiful mountains of SW Virginia, the incredibly long state of Tennessee, and the immensely flat terrain of East Arkansas. Dairy Queen on 7th St. is the true pinnacle that a destination should be. The steak fingers with gravy and tacos are the perfect treat to satisfy hunger that builds up during a day. The people who work here, including a woman from Louisiana, are incredibly pleasant and do better than the best to serve the customers. This place is a snapshot in time that every other establishment should research and emulate.“

“Love most of everyone ❤️. They are always helpful. But sometimes it's really slow. Nolan major problem I really have is pulling up to different stalls and a computer being down and it takes about three to four try sometimes even getting the one that works.

Parking: You need to kind of look in where you're pulling in most of the machines are down from time to time so you need to pay attention before you pull in to any other stalls. This is the worst part about it and it's very aggravating because it's usually you can pull into two or three of them before you get to the fourth one and you've got where you can order.

“We come to dairy Queen here in Texarkana when we're visiting my wife's family. It's always good. Food is hot and fresh. The crew is focused on their work. It's clean in here.
I had the Hungerbuster JR combo (fries and a medium drink) no onions add mayo/ extra mayo. Good amount of lettuce and tomatoes.

A bit of trivia that you probably didn't know, Dairy Queen's grill food items are different depending on which region of the country you are in. On the west coast the grill menu is different. Yes they had burgers fries and chicken items, but the burgers are very different.
Be careful coming in here when it's been raining outside, the floor is very slippery for some reason. More so than you would expect. I seem to recall it is always that way here every other time we've been here over the years.

“For a Monday at 5pm the food was disgusting, ordered 3 piece chicken and okra and both had a rancid oil taste, Mac n cheese was gummy. The two piece fish was terrible as well, one filet was so thin, it was almost all breading. The 2nd piece looked decent but it so wet inside it was inedible, only one of three hush puppies edible, the other two you couldn’t even bite into them they were so hard. Will not return.“

That said, the people are nice, the food is decent fast food, but the drink & ice cream shakes are the best reason to visit. So, go on a discount day or happy hour & be prepared to visit the 50s for a drink and a large selection of fast food.“

“Ordered delux pizza with extra cheese. Pizza had 1 or 2 pieces of sausage per slice no peparoni and a few extra thin, dried out green peppers on top. Definately no extra cheese. Mainly just crust with sauce. Also was told 20 mins for pick up. When i got there i paid for it and was told to wait a few mins later. Well after another 20 min wait i went back to cashier and asked about my pizza , she pulled it out of a hot server bag so it had been there the whole x. Very disappointed, will not be back“
