“We arrived in Navasota on a Sunday afternoon. It seemed like a rather sad town, especially since everything was closed. Then, from a distance, we spotted this restaurant that looked promising. Not only did the atmosphere seem pleasant, but I was also intrigued by their Mead and Beer offerings.

The first was a drink I was unfamiliar with; the second is always a safe bet. Not only was the beer delicious, but I also tried several mead flavors that I found divine. Then we tried a pretzel, because we weren't hungry enough for a full meal, and honestly, it was one of the best pretzels I've ever had. I didn't even have one this good in Germany! It came with an incredible mustard, and we ordered a second serving.

I will definitely return to this place to try other dishes from their simple yet very appealing menu, and, of course, to have more beer. If you're ever in the area, don't miss this place.“
