“Second year stopping in to see the people at CopperHead Brewing.Beers....plain and simple, excellent. Wide range of choices that suit anyone coming in, but really, it's the true craft beers that they excel at. The heavier hitters are just great!! Clocking in at anywhere from 10.5% for the Black Venom stout or the Medusa Quad, to the varying Barrel Aged beers they have. Excellent beers!!Food is available outside. Saw some come in and there was a good portion on the plates. Just haven't tried it.Hours are the thing I had an issue with, and I get it that maybe they want to keep it small as they are open 4-7PM Tuesday through Friday and then Noon-8 on Saturday. it's the Friday night I can't understand. But again, this isn't a bar that caters to college kids looking to get drunk cheap. Beers are good priced, especially for what you're getting!!To go is good. Solid selection of beers, but it does hurt that what's on tap isn't always what's in bottles. I talked with the brewer last year and he said they like to keep it small and coordinate releases with people on mailing list as it ensures everyone gets something instead of dropping a keg in and having it go in a day because people are doing growlers, etc.Overall, great place and anytime I am in the area, that's one of my first stops!!“
“I rented the semi-private beer garden spot for our friends and family to gather the night before our daughters wedding. It held all 50 of us with room to spare. We chose to go with the Pizza that they make on hand which were delicious. The White Pizza was suggested by a staff member and it was amazing. Lainey and her staff did a fantastic job of taking care of us along with the friendly young man (I cannot remember his name) that helped us with 17 pizzas through the evening. Everyone also enjoyed trying the craft beers. I really enjoyed the sour one.All of my guests really enjoyed themselves at this event. Thank you!!“
“We had our wedding welcome party at Southern Star Brewing on 11/03/2023 and it was a great time! Keith went over and beyond. He was responsive and reached out voluntarily to make sure everything was in order. He also made sure everyone had a great time. If I have another event in the future, I will definitely be booking with Southern Star.“
“This is our first time at this spot ! The food from the trucks are all amazing. Raise Pizza really made a difference and stood out the most to us. Not only did they communicate with us while our food took a little longer than expected ,but they went the extra mile and made the best /most fresh pizza I have ever had. To top it all off the staff was so kind and brought our food to us with a sweet treat for my 4year old daughter to enjoy! We will most definitely be back!“
“My family and I visited BJ’s for dinner and we had an amazing experience. Zachary was our waiter and he was beyond amazing. He was very sweet and personal and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, it was just a great time.“
“What a great little brewery and tap room! I'll admit, I was a little saddened that they didn't have any porters or stouts. But they do have several other higher ABV offerings and some very flavorful light colored beers. The tap room is very well designed and looks like it is a historical renovation, even though it is clear that they expertly weaved modern amenities (like a flat screen tv) into historical details. Shawn (Sean?) was tending bar and he was excellent. Service with a smile, happy to answer questions, and he did an excellent job taking care of all the customers, despite being alone in the room that day. The food offerings were a little disappointing. But considering they're pre-made and there is no real kitchen, they were better than expected. All in all, loved the place, looking forward to returning.“
