Equal Parts Brewing Brewery • $
3118 Harrisburg Blvd #108, Houston

“Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. The beer selection was on point for both myself and my wife who enjoy very different styles. The food truck that was there was perfect for a good snack. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have some sort of wait staff on a busy day so we didn’t have to wait in line at the bar. But overall great experience. Keep making great beer. We will be back for sure.“

“Nice place for many different occasions. Very kid and dog friendly! Staff is always attentive and helpful when ordering or just asking basic questions. Events/food trucks are always posted on their website calendar. Never had a bad beer here but if you read this… go there now and ask for them to keep Pregame Jitters on tap!“

Gristworkz Brewery • $$
1504 Chapman St, Houston

“Great brewery with a strong menu. Went there for lunch at 11 AM on a Saturday. Ritchie welcomed us to the brewery, then ran through what was on tap and their food offerings before pouring us some of the breweries reverse osmosis water. I hate going somewhere and drinking some funky tap water with my beer l, so this was great. My beer faces were Who’s Your Paddy? Irish Red and Hot Boi Blueberry/Raspberry Blonde Ale. Both were excellent, with the Side Gig Sour Ale and Gurl Dinner Stout getting honorable mentions. All were very drinkable session beers, great for enjoying in their fresh and open taproom. For lunch, we opted for a breakfast pizza off the brunch menu and some Brussels sprouts off their normal menu. The breakfast pizza crust had a chewy interior and a crisp exterior, perfectly done. Sausage, egg, and tots were supported by a delicious white sauce. The sprouts were seared in a Szechuan sauce and topped with pickled onions, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I could have eaten those all day.Cannot recommend this place enough, and kudos to Richie (beer tender) and Bobby (chef) for their hospitality, excellent service, and engaging conversation.“

Great local spot and plenty of room inside if you want to bring a big group! There are also a few game nights each week, so check them out! Highly recommend if you're visiting or in the area. There are also TVs in case you want to catch a game!“

Holler Brewing Co. Brewery • $
2206 Edwards St Suite A, Houston

“We LOVE Hollar! Great beer consistently and fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, today the female bartender was rude and very unwelcoming to several members of our party. It's unfortunate, normally the staff is welcoming and extremely helpful, but today this was not the case . Good opportunity for training . We will be back, but hopefully this staff member will be more hospitable.“

Saint Arnold Beer Garden Bar • $$

“I had an amazing experience at this brewery during an office party. Being the oldest craft brewery in Texas, the place exudes history. The restaurant's artistic decor and Game-of-Thrones vibe with wooden beams and chandeliers create a unique atmosphere.Inside, chapels filled with captivating artwork add to the charm. There's also outside seating by a fountain resembling an overflowing beer chalice, providing a delightful setting for a meal. The Beer Garden, adorned with art cars, adds to the overall appeal.I highly recommend this spot for not just the excellent food and brewery, but also for the rich artworks and historical ambiance. A must-visit!“

“The beer was great, however, it’s important to note that when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the brewery was an absolute children’s playground. There were babies everywhere which is very much not our scene. It was our first time visiting, so just a heads up to anyone not looking for that atmosphere.“

“We stopped in here for some drinks while visiting a good friend in Houston and this was an excellent stop. The taproom was fairly spacious, which was good since it was their trivia night and it was packed. We were able to snag some seats at the bar and we ordered a flight of ciders, all of which were very good. They were very refreshing and weren't cloyingly sweet, which was very nice to see. We weren't able to try any food as we had more places to go, but it looked good from what we could see. We would definitely come back here!“

8th Wonder Brewery Brewery • $
2202 Dallas St, Houston

“This brewery was definitely a vibe. You walk in and the first thing you see is a huge menu that covers the entire back wall, including a generous selection of beer. Bartenders were all super friendly. It was a gorgeous day so I sat outside in the beaming sunlight to enjoy my West Coast IPA, which was delicious. The outside area is humongous, so much room for activities. Large statues of The Beatles are nestled in the back corner which gives the place character and draws you in. A great place to come with friends for a few drinks and some bar games (Jenga included).“

“Best brewery in Houston in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and the quality of beer is awesome. Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company Brewery • $

“Three stories of beer fun! They have a handful of beers available on the first and third floors, but if you want to see EVERYTHING they have, check out the second floor. They have table service, but you can also go straight to one of the bars if needed. The food selection is good, service is good, and the prices are what you should expect from a brew-pub.My advice is to grab a table on the third floor terrace, order some grub, and take in the awesome views of the Houston skyline. The beer is decent, but I really didn’t find anything that blew my socks off. Nonetheless, it’s a fun place to hang out. I would definitely go back again.“
