“Went on Tuesday for their open mic comedy. Awesome, low key vibes, comics were pretty funny, and beer was delicious. Favorite beer was Fake Landing! They have a food truck on Tuesdays and their bartenders are amazing. Pollo and Natalie were so accommodating and knowledgeable as they guided us on what to drink and let us try whatever we wanted. We can’t wait to become regulars here.“

Gristworkz Brewery • $$

“Great brewery with a strong menu. Went there for lunch at 11 AM on a Saturday. Ritchie welcomed us to the brewery, then ran through what was on tap and their food offerings before pouring us some of the breweries reverse osmosis water. I hate going somewhere and drinking some funky tap water with my beer l, so this was great. My beer faces were Who’s Your Paddy? Irish Red and Hot Boi Blueberry/Raspberry Blonde Ale. Both were excellent, with the Side Gig Sour Ale and Gurl Dinner Stout getting honorable mentions. All were very drinkable session beers, great for enjoying in their fresh and open taproom. For lunch, we opted for a breakfast pizza off the brunch menu and some Brussels sprouts off their normal menu. The breakfast pizza crust had a chewy interior and a crisp exterior, perfectly done. Sausage, egg, and tots were supported by a delicious white sauce. The sprouts were seared in a Szechuan sauce and topped with pickled onions, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I could have eaten those all day.Cannot recommend this place enough, and kudos to Richie (beer tender) and Bobby (chef) for their hospitality, excellent service, and engaging conversation.“

“Having been raised by a parent who loved Ennio Morricone's iconic score for Sergio Leone's "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly," it was a pleasant surprise to find Ennio Pils in a store one day. What a cool tribute to the Dollars Trilogy and spaghetti westerns! I hope this is still being sold in stores.“

Benny Thunders Bar • $

“My partner and I wandered into this place while walking the dogs. We've now made it our regular spot. They are so kind with the dogs. It feels like they are hosting them as well! They bring them a dog bowl with ice water and a huge dog treat. I got to know Shannon today after seeing her several times, and I can't wait to spend so much more time there. It's a great spot off the beaten path of white oak and it may be my favorite my place to stop in from now on. Here's to many more random visits!“

Saint Arnold Beer Garden Bar • $$

“I had an amazing experience at this brewery during an office party. Being the oldest craft brewery in Texas, the place exudes history. The restaurant's artistic decor and Game-of-Thrones vibe with wooden beams and chandeliers create a unique atmosphere.Inside, chapels filled with captivating artwork add to the charm. There's also outside seating by a fountain resembling an overflowing beer chalice, providing a delightful setting for a meal. The Beer Garden, adorned with art cars, adds to the overall appeal.I highly recommend this spot for not just the excellent food and brewery, but also for the rich artworks and historical ambiance. A must-visit!“

Frost Town Brewing Brewery •

“My husband and I are visiting Houston from Denver (where craft beer is EVERYWHERE), and decided to do a brewery crawl to compare cities. My husband is a beer snob. I'm not a beer drinker really at all, but we both LOVED this beer and the ambiance. Top of the list for all the breweries we visited. The place is super clean, modern, cozy, nice outdoor space, dog friendly, food trucks, board games. More importantly, the beer tastes delicious! Lots of types to pick from. The flights were perfect for me and the pints were great for my husband. Definitely stop by this place!“

“This brewery is great. My dad and I visited on a day that there wasn't a food truck, but otherwise everything was awesome and we just stopped by a local pizza place afterwards.Amazing beer and the bartender at the time was super friendly and outgoing. He helped us decide on a few more things to do in the area as well.Unfortunately, I don't remember his name (I think it was Jake?) but thanks for making our trip a bit better. Cheers!“

“We stopped in here for some drinks while visiting a good friend in Houston and this was an excellent stop. The taproom was fairly spacious, which was good since it was their trivia night and it was packed. We were able to snag some seats at the bar and we ordered a flight of ciders, all of which were very good. They were very refreshing and weren't cloyingly sweet, which was very nice to see. We weren't able to try any food as we had more places to go, but it looked good from what we could see. We would definitely come back here!“

“? The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and doesn't have excessively loud music.? There were people of all sorts here, but it seemed like a popular meet-up spot for friends and business.? The owner was friendly and regularly hopped between tables to check on friends and other patrons.? The food is good. They have some sort of cauliflower nuggets, which taste great and give vegitarians something to eat. The wings are flavored well, too. I saw a plate of fish and chips being served to a table and am eager to try them.? The various ranch sauces were slightly watery, but will otherwise lend the standard "ranch" flavor for someone who's had a few drinks ?f“
