“I’m surprised I’ve never heard of this brewery before, but I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their beers and the outstanding food. It’s a hidden gem that you might have driven past a million times without realizing it. Don’t judge a book by its cover; this place is truly special, and I wish them all the best of luck. Please don’t sleep on this place.“

“I honestly really have enjoyed this venue but the barriers are so annoying. I've been to a bunch off shows here and you guys keep putting up barriers for hardcore shows. It's so dumb like I get the safety aslect, but having a hardcore show with a barrier is one off the worst things you can do as a venue.“
“I stopped by New Magnolia Brewing Co recently and had a great time. The food was really good and came out fresh, and the atmosphere had a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made it easy to stay awhile. The service was friendly and attentive, and it felt like a great place to hang out, eat well, and enjoy the evening.“

“Hands down my favorite spot in Houston. Excellent food at prices that I can't believe. I don't know how they're making any profit at these prices, but I deeply appreciate it, especially these days. Also a fantastic bar program and great service. Rarely crowded, always comfortable. A true hidden gem.“
“This boutique craft brewery has a lively vibe and well developed roster of brews. The combination of beautiful indoor climate controlled spaces with TVs to catch the game, plus outdoor shaded spaces is very appealing for families and pet owners. Great place to spend a relaxing afternoon and enjoy a pint or two in Houston. Paid or street parking.“
“I was craving fish and chips and this spot hits it! The tartar sauce fantastically compliments the fish. I will be coming back for my future fish and chips craving. Thank you to Taylor our server for your help. We got half dozen sticky green Thai wings and they were incredible. The steak and frites in medium was good and the classic burger was tasty. Overall, we would get these items again. I fell in love with St. Arnold’s citrus shandy so I had to come try it at the brewery! There is a designated parking lot and the restrooms were very clean.“
“These guys have about 15 different brews. It's amazing to have so much variety for a small brewery. Don't expect air conditioning, though. Their beer is very good, and it ranges from an IPA to a bock to a porter to a Japanese rice beer.“

“City Orchard is a hidden gem.
Though selfishly I hope it stays one of Houston’s best kept secrets, it deserves all the praise and glory for its outstanding service, great food, and fantastic cider.
Highly recommend the Hazy Gold cider - one of the best ciders I’ve EVER had, not just in Houston. The mushroom pizza is also to die for and a must on cauliflower crust. I have a gluten allergy and it is one of the first and only bars that has successfully accommodated me and I have never gotten sick from. Truthfully, I could come for the pizza alone. The pepperoni is also fantastic - which is why it tends to disappear quickly and difficult to get a picture of.
The service is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of.
We are frequent flyers at their Thursday night trivia, and we look forward to it every week because we know we’ll receive great service, delicious food and drinks, and have a great time.

“This was my first time visiting this spot - highly recommend. It’s the old Sears store! - I use to shop there all the time + take Ruby ? in for oil changes next door all the time
they serve cider! + beer + wine. first 3 hours of parking ?️ are FREE in gated lot - the gates are fancy high tech + read your license plates ??
