Gruene Hall Reviews
My wife and I paid $90 each to come see Tab play which was amazing and Ghalia and or tickets said seats 701 702 but that was a lie. We had to sit outside to try and enjoy the music and could barely hear it, and deal with some ladies smoking cigarettes, which made it worse and several people were pissed at them and then we couldn’t see because everybody stood up, for $90 each We should’ve been able to sit down and enjoy the show and with out cigarette SMOKE. We love the hall. From tickets shows to the free shows throughout the week - there is always great music and cold beer!
I grew up in Gruene Hall because my Father played in a band and they played there all the time! It’s a beautiful place and it brings back so many great memories!!!

Gruene Hall is a historic venue known for interesting decorations, though it may feel old and not always well-maintained. Inside, it can get very hot, especially during the summer. The bartenders are top-notch and serve great drinks. The hall features live music 7 days a week, making it a popular honky tonk spot. It is kid-friendly until 9 pm and has a flat entrance for wheelchair accessibility, though the bathrooms might be hard to navigate. Many visitors enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere, with some noting that the music might not always meet traditional dance expectations. The variety of bands, including a European band playing American classics, adds to its charm. Guests love the chance to dance, even if it’s just a couple of two-steps. Overall, Gruene Hall remains a beloved Texas landmark, appreciated for its great music, friendly vibe, and historical significance.
