My husband prefers these burgers so he always insists we go. The burgers are good and the service is typically good at the counter but it has an overwhelming smell of the sewer as soon as you walk in. It’s enough to make me gag. I tell them every time and they act like they have no clue. I’ll admit my nose is sensitive but my husband typically can’t smell and he can smell it but it doesn’t bother him. Surely I’m not the only one that notices this. It’s got to be fixed....

We went to Chapps at my husband's suggestion for my birthday. The prices seem ok but as you add to the basic burgers you find yourself or myself going from a $9 junior meal to a $15 junior meal. The food was ok but not great and there are other places I have enjoyed more for a lower price.

Tonight was the first time I tried Chapps. It was great! Very friendly service, burgers cooked fresh when you order them (gotta try the mushroom burger) and great fries too. Surprisingly, this place wasn't busy at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, either. With as good as they are, I would have expected it to be very busy.

It's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time!
